It's a catch 22. We have to get the books from Ebay because we all horde them. We continue to horde and they continue to list and we continue to buy. The more we buy the more the price goes up. The twist becomes as we do this our books are worth more, but really no one will ever buy them because we already have them. There's an infinity loop in there somewhere.

So I had to go to Knoxville for my wife's reunion this weekend and hit a couple of stores for some Dave stuff. I found a beat up King Kong and a Black Angel that was fairly nice. I left the King Kong for somebody to find on Free Comic Book Day and bought the Black Angel. One more book down! Update on books at CGC: been there since Wed the 20th, and only shows received.....

I hear that! I recently went through this as well. I have submitted a few of my personal books to try and get an idea of how some items will grade and depending on how they do vs. how I thought they would do I might be putting a LOT of stuff up for sale.

If I had the money to overpay I might. Trade, I would trade nearly my entire collection of books and still not be able to come to a number someone would be willing to take. I still kick myself all the time because all the times I met Dave I never got him to sketch anything for me. I was just a teenager and didn't know what a sketch even was

I haven't found anything lately but the last time I managed to score a lot of Dave at one time it seems like it was a pretty decent run of the Jonny Quest books. Multiples of all of them ranging from paper airplane grade to maybe 9.6. I guess we will see since I sent the second best copy in for grading. The best copy is signed
