  1. Awesome image.I only have one now but during my first collecting go around I had like 30 copies. So much good stuff gone. *sigh* 20/20 hindsight.

  3. I've had pretty good success through Ebay.Got a run of 1602 and they all came back 9.8 except #1 and it was a 9.2 Got 2 Emma Frost and both came back 9.8( seems like they were only a buck each and I got them to fill a box) Bought a boxed set of GA books and got 2 9.6 and a 9.8
  4. Holy Crap! I remember buying that back in the day.Got gone when I sold out 20+ years ago.But I do remember it
  5. At least it wasn't shipped inside of a flattened out cereal box.
  6. The print run on this can't be very high.I only have 1 or 2 copies. It is a great cover and you can see both Kirby and Dave's art in it.Fun series too!
  7. Got my winter binge reading ready. Finally replaced the set I had years ago. These are all BCE's cause I had the first trilogy in them & the second trilogy in store editions and I like all my books in a series to be one size.If possible.I loaned my original set to a young guy I bowled with.He got half way through the last book ad quit reading.I convinced him to finish it up but he had a fatal wreck shortly thereafter.
  8. These are so cool.Rat Fink was such a big [art of my generation growing up.I wanted real cars to be like this.
  9. I don't see a problem.Sometimes it may be a case like with me.I don't keep much in my account I use to buy funny books.I work 10 hours a day and only get a chance to go to the bank one day a week. Some of the sellers here have been very gracious with me and held my books till I could get the money in. But in the end,use your own discretion. And good luck.
  10. Awesome stuff. If I didn't already have these I'd be all over them.Thor was the first series I completed many many moons ago.
  11. I am partial to comics from 1968 up to around 1977.I can't put my finger on one particular age/era because I enjoy some stuff from all different age. Golden Age Eisner's Spirit reigns supreme.I do enjoy Fritzi Ritz also and the early DC heroes I found reprinted in the 100 page Spectaculars hold a special place in my heart. Silver age have to go with Marvel.Just begining to get hooked on Sgt.Fury stuff. 1968-1977.Captain Marvel.Silver Surfer,Conan,Warlock,Dr.Strange,HTD,New X-Men,So much cool stuff For me the Copper Age started with Epic #1 and I was introduced to Dreadstar. The comic BOOM had so much impact on the market.I have so many great memories driving 50 miles to the LCS & picking up my 50+ pull list.Fish Police,Mage,Scout,Miracle Man,Simonson's Thor,Byrne's FF & She-Hulk,First,Eclipse,Pacific,Comico. All the weird stuff from Britain.Good times man.Good times. Modern have to go with Liberty Meadows,Emma Frost mini series & right now I'm hooked on Fables.Reall got into WW Hulk & Civil War at the time but now that just doesn't do it.Guess I O.D. on Marvel. Name your poision, try lots of different stuff & enjoy. Oh .Almost forgot Groo!
  12. Film fans choose today to celebrate the cult classic to end all cult classics (msn.com) Just remember. "No matter where you go.There you are!" And yes. This came before the country song
