  1. Why didn't Billy change to Cap in his radio address on that Ibac splash? Those Fawcett editors were sleeping on the job
  2. These are great!! I wonder why the Lost Valley #1 was only a 1.5 compared to the much higher grade #2 and #3
  3. I'm sure that Fishler will get that book by hook or by crook. After years of hoarding that issue he is not going to let the white whale slip by. But he will at least be paying what the marketplace dictates in a true auction format. Anyone can jump in and give him a run for his money
  4. Must be hit or miss then. 3 books mailed out on 12/22 were just received back on 3/1 (no CGC)
  5. Would love to hear opinions on this book. The band along the top edge of the cover is apparently foxing.
  6. Thanks for all the opinions. I have another copy of this issue - call it Copy B. Ever so slight pull at top staple (not nearly as bad as Copy A above). Everything attached. Opinions are welcome
  7. They have consistently been going between 2k-3k for the set. I am sure that RM has one!!
  8. I know I know!! Torn between keeping it a secret and showing the Baker goodness
  9. Ok here is the third Baker illus from Nugget. A beautiful collage of the female form
  10. I have it scanned and can post it if no one objects
  11. I know there was a large gap between the first and second issue (a span of many months) where the center of operations was moved to New York City from Chicago and the company was no longer listed as St John. Archer St John was listed as the publisher in the first issue but died by the time it hit the stands. His son Michael took over for a short time. I suspect this was Baker's only issue but he contributed 3 great illustrations for it
  12. +1 Very nice cover. The suggestiveness reminds me of this illustration by the great Mr. Baker
  13. Spine split maybe I confess I don't see it either
