Just stumbled on this Superman #1 on Metro this afternoon and found it odd that it doesn't list what pages/wraps are missing? http://metropoliscomics.com/load_bookDetails.php?id=673587&enlarge=1 Is this a goof or are we now expected to purchase graders notes to figure out what's missing? If it's a goof, you think it'd be worth Metro getting a new case for it. It's only a $90,000 book. Not that I can afford it anyway.

In the last decade or so, Martian Manhunter has really been incorporated into the Superman mythology via comics and media. He was tasked by Jor-El to watch over Kal-El on Earth in the comics and this was reinforced in the Smallville TV series. That's been continued by proxy in the new Supergirl TV series where he's a major part of the story having done essentially the same thing for Kara (and likely Kal as well, though this hasn't been shown).

From my perspective, the Fourth World books are absolutely Superman family titles and the whole run belongs in any Superman collection. They're also some of the best art in comics' history. These days, I also consider anything specifically Martian Manhunter to be a Superman family title as well.

Gotten a little bogged down the last few days, but some more books will be coming. I'm already well below my cost on the two books posted so far, but I'll bump them both down by $25 and see if we get any takers.
