  1. :: I once saw a monkey vomit into it's hand and then eat it at the Bronx Zoo.
  2. Than why are people given strikes when they point out sellers are on the PL in their sales threads? We get it, this happened to you. You made a sweet rap video condemning the persecution and you should no longer let it affect you.
  3. :: I saw an uber hardcore porn picture left in multiple threads overnight, and into the morning. This gets scrubbed within minutes of posting.
  4. Completely Not Member Specific Rule #69. Passive aggressive posting of popcorn emoticons, immediately following posts from members who emoticon poster have on ignore, should be considered an initial engagement, and henceforth be classified as bad faith.
  5. So is Kitsune on the PL list yet so I can sell him stuff?
  6. Wow. You are literally taking what I say and repeating it as a question back to me. Thanks for entertaining me while I cleaned the house this afternoon. You are just instigating for the fun of instigating. Pure and simple. No silly boy, you are the only instigator round these parts.
  7. You have Polar Bear sized balls to accuse anyone of posting in bad faith. Hopefully this situation will afford you the opportunity to rethink the use of the PL and continuing to do business with those who populate it.
  8. This is awesome, especially with someone like myself who has limited brain power or memory. Good job fa fa flunky.
  9. Maybe those who openly sell to members on the PL shouldn't seek any remedy from the very thing they spit on. Seems pretty hypocritical.
  10. Yeah... you're right. Unfortunately for you it also shows that even when offered a full refund, regardless of how long it took, that wasn't good enough for you. Of course once someone pointed out that in another situation zombizzy fully refunded the buyer and let them keep the books you seemed to be all about that. Regardless of what's posted in you kudos thread, based on that action alone, I can guarantee you and I will not be doing business at any time. Nor would I want someone doing business with me that wants someone like zombizzy back on the boards I never said anything about wanting him back on the boards. As far as I'm concerned I'd like to see you both gone. I like your logic ..a buyer gets ripped off and you want to ban him as well. And if you could read past a third grade level you would have noticed I made the statement about the refund and keeping the books as a joke You're making yourself appear petty and unreasonable. It's enough now, everyone thought that the seller was wrong, your petulance obfuscates the point at hand and now all I focus on is your whining. Send the books back, get a refund, and be done with it.
  11. The reason that he can't honor returns is that he is not financially capable. The part of this story where I would feel bad is when he fell behind because of the personal issues and found it difficult to get ahead. The part of this story where it gets ugly is where Anthony made empty promises of completed pieces at CGC, probably couldn't afford grading fees, made promises that refunds would be made, probably couldn't afford the returns, started selling sketches that were represented as finished to paying members. And much like members who sell to PL or HOS members, rationalizing the terrible behavior is like spitting in the faces of those members who have been injured in one way or another.
  12. Did your fiancée allow you to take a picture without her umbrella literally placed on your comics?
  13. In fact I liked that cover so much I just picked one up right now on eBay. I would have purchased one for a bit less from Mile High but they are the only dealer who I will never do business with. Why is a man wearing a dress? It goes well with his go-go boots? The pink brings out the color of his eyes.
  14. You need to do this when your Clooneython is active. Must I teach you everything.
  15. Much like the police having the ability to press charges on behalf of a victim, if the community agrees that a situation warrants it, I think we should be able to nominate an individual. Suck it, ACLU sheep!
  16. I'm assuming that the Joseph refund, through PayPal, was not sent as a refund, as the payment did not originate through PP, nor was it sent PP personal. If I were Joseph, I would contact PayPal and see if you can inform them of why the payment was sent and supply documentation if necessary. At least you can hopefully be on record. Shady is as shady does, a chargeback seems like fair game.
  17. I'm going to take a big dookie right in yours and make you take your statement back.

  19. It is an accepted risk when you have someone scribble on your comic. Smudges, creases, bends, etc may occur as a result. If the facilitator damages the book, or loses the book or some other tragedy befalls the book while in their possession, than yes, it's a risk the facilitator makes by acting in that capacity. If a tool box artist, writes his snarky wildly_fanciful_statement, or a famous comic creator draws a cockroach on the cover, tough titties.
  20. Submitted with the membership coupon. Verified on 4/3, still verified.
  21. Yes, work is "time consuming". It can be tedious, but it is work. I'll take my wrist slap/strike if you want to throw one my way. If we held everyone to posts they made 4 years ago, certain reformed members would seem like nightmares. That's why most people who mask don't get strikes, excessive abusers do. People who post one questionable picture don't get strikes, excessive abusers do. Certain guidelines are not enforced as stringently until certain members spit in their face. Strike after strike after strike. I love it, and hope it continues. Are you saying the people with the most strikes are excessive abusers? Note to self. Sunday is the day after Saturday Everyday is like Sunday. Stop talking and send this chubby American an ample supply of Club Milks.

  23. Thanks for having my back, OG. But I'd like the focus..positive or negative...not to be on any individual. That's the problem. People around here can't discuss things without making every issue about the people discussing the issue, rather than the issue itself...and it is this problem that eats away at the board, which the moderation team won't address. It's not the boobies, it's not the swear words, it's not the "PG-13" issues that are the problem. It's the toxicity that motivates a person to make threats against someone else, regardless of the reason, the toxicity that jumps all over noobs for the most innocuous questions, the toxicity that inspires people to provoke people they don't like with snide commentary, the toxicity that allows people to openly hate one another instead of trying to resolve differences, or, at worst, not interacting with them at all. That's the problem, that's what the mods, and the mods alone, can control, and that's what is being ignored. But thanks for having my back. You'll most likely ignore what I'm saying, but putting our past differences aside, I agree with your point. The problem, for me at least, and I may be wrong, but when you discuss macro issues pertaining to the boards you seem to exclude yourself from the behaviors you criticize. We are all guilty of being obnoxious, rude, snarky, elitist, cliquish, boarish and displaying any other of the typical collector behaviors. At times, some members take it too far and threats or perceived threats are made and the moderators feel that a strike is in order. Thirdgreenham, Cimm, Chuck Gower, and a whole lot of others don't participate in the ball busting aspects of the boards. Those who do, can't arbitrarily decide when members take things too far, or the level of banter has reached toxic levels. The moderators job is to allow the boards to exist, in a somewhat coherent manner, and facilitate the popularity and suppport for CGC. They are not perfect, nor should any member expect them to be. We are all adults who make a conscious effort to be a part of this community. They stop egregious profanity, sex, threats, etc. Take this as an attack, ignore it, whatever. All I'm saying is that all of us, yourself included, can change to a degree that moderation is unnecessary, and these boards would be boring as mess!
