  1. d) A Transaction between board members is not confined to the CGC Message Boards. Any transaction between forum members, regardless of the venue, is eligible for inclusion in the PL. This is what my dog thinks of your post. In actuality nothing, as I don't have a dog. If I did, it would be most displeased with it, I assure you. Also, you may be right, I may be crazy. But it just may be a lunatic you're looking for.
  2. No one better walk by my blanket setup at the flea market and promise to buy my Englebert Humperdink 8 tracks, then forget and leave; you will pay dearly. I vote to only include documented board transactions. My dooshbaggy joke is in no way meant to minimize that a boardie got screwed over. I have been victim to getting the shaft and it wasn't pleasant.
  3. What is it about antiquing that brings out an individual's pompousness? You're just buying expensive refuse. Although, come to think of it, I buy pulp and ink for thousands of dollars.
  4. This is the penultimate pressing thread. Another floating doo doo in the CGC board's pool. :: Have a few scotches, and laugh a little. They're just comics.
  5. Where is this coming from? If you rip off a boardie, send a different book or don't send it due to PayPal Personal, what did you do, as the one who ripped off the boardie, to make amends? Clarified my post.
  6. And that gets at the heart of it. Should a boardie be allowed to keep someone on the probation list out of anger even after they've done their best to fix the problem? They should not. In any and all situations, or in this particular instance? So if, for arguements sake, I rip off a buyer and send a different book or take PayPal personal and don't send the book, the boardie I ripped off should be forced to accept, if and when I attempt to make amends? And if they choose not to, the perpetrator should be removed anyway? It undermines the entire spirit of the list. It's not the fault of the wronged party for not agreeing to remove the individual, it's the fault of the individual who acted in whatever manner that landed them on the PL in the first place.
  7. The real issue is why you're spending $50 on an Elephantmen comic. What I collect rules, what you collect blows.
  8. Just a follow up on Austin, Excellsior1986. I put in a Paypal dispute and he never responded. They are refunding my 62 bucks. I'm much more pissed off that I didn't get that awesome cover reproduction. Hope he is ok and just being a dooshking.
  9. I am said boardie. I asked Austin to recreate Chamber of Chills 19. Paypal'd $62 bucks after it was finished on 7/26. Never heard from again. I filed a Paypal claim yesterday as my 45 day window was up. What I'm upset about is the cover was amazing. I have sent a few PM's and let him know I opened up a claim. I still want the piece, so if there was a life hiccup I understand. I'm not going to just let someone keep my money though. If you're reading this I hope everything is ok. But for now I second the probation.
  10. +1 That whole thing is very racist and unnecessary.
  11. These things usually play out in two ways; you're right or you're wrong. Name the seller and we should be able to identify the outcome. When you say long standing are you referring to WDMarvelcomics who has already been put on the PL? You wouldn't be wrong for airing a grievance, but you also wouldn't be cutting a new path either. If it's someone who seemingly wouldn't act in a less than moral manner, maybe we can get to the bottom of it.
  12. Is that a color break right about captain america's ear? Yeah, but it doesn't matter because it doesn't count against the grade on this issue. It's supposed to be there. It is a defect and does count against the grade. Only in 9.9 or higher. :: On a ball busting scale of 1-10, you are at an 11.
  13. The bubble will burst immediately preceding my decision to sell my run.
  14. Is anyone else disgusted by this variant tear they are on. It's unsettling and a clear money grab. I was a loyal reader and happily bought the very few variants that were released. Now every issue needs some ploy to increase the numbers? It has completely turned me off to continuing my run. I'm being punished for being a fan if they expect that collectors should dish out hundreds of dollars for every tiny run variant they offer. I know it's a free country, don't get the variants, blah, blah, blah. For those collectors who are completists and want to own all the issues in a series they really love, it sucks balls. you Kirkman, and I'll expect the blue/red/gold/silver issues to be released in the near future.
  15. That Japanese cover is super cool!
  16. I was going to use the "I'll buy that for a dollar" line, but hated myself before I started typing. Nice pick up. (thumbs u
  17. Books came packed well and in a speedy manner. Jonesy is an awesome guy, much cooler than I!
  18. EXACTLY If it helps at all, I have completed numerous transactions with the seller. Not to say that you should change your course of action, only hopefully they are just being slow.
  19. What are you the Jerry Maguire of attorneys? I thought your kind encourage the piddlings of others. If you resolved all your cases that quickly, you would never be able to afford all those candlesticks!
