My favorite SA books i got from the Clink and Pedigree auctions I've always loved this cover and have a 7.0ish raw copy. I wasnt planning on getting it but it went so cheap, i couldnt resist. Crappo scan but this was the LAST X-men 1-66 that i didnt have so i was thrilled to get it even though i over payed a little. The 1 book i REALLY wanted in the Clink auction and had to have. I've always wanted a 1st 6 Hulk issue

Seriously!Love the cover to the Avengers 47! Thanks! I wasn't planning on getting that many books but they went so cheap, i couldnt resist. About half of those books went for lower than any other recorded GPA sale. Looks like i got back into Avengers at just the right time since all of those except the 17 went for about half what they were going for a year or 2 ago.

Thanks! Although technically, i'm old blood. Just took a LONG break for about 8 years but always wanted to get back in. I got sidetracked with having kids, opening my own office and getting into saltwater fishtanks. Between those and getting burned on a collection in 2002, i took an extended break but getting back into comics was on my mind most of that time. It really was just completely random that i got back in when i did. One day, a woman that comes and takes my wifes spinning class 2-3 times a week asked me if she could leave some fliers out in our place. The fliers were for a LCS i used to go to. She went on to tell me that her husband is the previous owners son and they run it now. I took my son over there the next day and i was hooked again (thumbs u

WOW! We have the same taste in books! Like the 47, i was in fairly serious discussions about buying this one also! I have an 8.5 so i passed on it to fill more of my run before i upgrade. SWEET book!

Thanks! Now i can scratch the 9.2w in the Pedigree auction off my list. That leaves me with only about 500 more i want to bid on in the Ped and Clink auctions! That's manageable right?!? On a side note, unless i am wrong, this book has gone from cheetah, to WW comics, to silver surfer and then to me all within the last month! My bookshelf will be it's final destination for the next 10 years at least though

Definitely, my biggest slabbed run. I have another 35 or so from 143 up. I have about 20-25 or so slabworthy raws between 4-100 so hopefully I can get those done in 2011. I really, REALLY need to sell the raw undercopies for all those slabs this year also to help fill the run. Other than 1,2,3, and 6, I have at least 1 raw undercopy that are all pretty nice for every one of those slabs. Getting those raws slabbed and buying the few I need betwee 101-142 is my #1 collecting goal of 2011 (thumbs u

Is 54 a group??? here's my nowhere near finished 1-142 X-men run. It needs A LOT of work but at least i have 1,2 and 3 out of the way so the rest aren't nearly as expensive. 100-142 is complete except for about 5 books i think. between slabbing my raws and buying, hopefully, this will be about 90% done by the end of 2011

Very nice cheetah I was the underbidder on BOTH of those in the CC auction. I had almost forgot how much I regretted not getting either. THANKS!!! Both are sweet but that 35 is amazing! I really wish I hadn't screwed around trying to play it by GPA and just made a bid that definitely would have gotten it. That thing is sick!!! Congrats

This is embarrassing compared to most of your guys runs but this is pretty much the extent of my slabbed ASM run It'll look a little better when i get my 8.5 #6 in a few weeks and then i'll have the 1st two Lizard and new Vulture appearances.
