  1. Satan speaks, through backward masking in many of my favorite albums from the 80s. Don't know where he's been off to since. I have to muddle on alone now, I think.
  2. At least you fill this thread with monster movie visuals, and not popcorn gremlins. Kudos for that.
  3. I concur. it's the ccity livin' It rocks. I'm only a short walk from a vomit pool or some random fisticuffs. There's an LCS, so there's that.
  4. I also hear that you, er... one can also make money selling comicbooks too. I'm doing that as well and currently working on digging myself out of the hole I'm in. TRY THIS (or any other restaurant or retailer or anything, really) He already applied there. I have to assume since we heard nothing about it after he dropped off his resume that he didn't get the job. That's correct. Resubmit with a different cover letter. Something specific to the job or whatever. Make them notice you.
  5. Kinda ditto for me too. I concur. I get that his business practices for some were an issue, but banning him altogether seems overly harsh.
  6. Thanks! I've never heard of this before. Thanks to DogLikeSparky for the images!
  7. Has he been seen over at the Voldy Boards? There have been rumoured sightings. Remember how young and carefree we were back then? We thought the summer would go on forever. Ugh Steve, makes me think of that Green Day video... Try listening to this:

  9. TV series in development. Thanks. Haven't been paying attention to all that stuff.
  10. Is there something happening with the Black Lightning character? Edit: Haven't seen it mentioned in this thread.
  11. If Ditch were still here he'd have posted that RMA and MetalPSI both just got rung up on called third strikes. Now Slym.
  12. Dont apologize to Mitch, he doesn't deserve it. He's all you say and more, he's one of the biggest *spoons* on this board. Thanks for the clarification on chicken little.. Oh Brother, That is your opinion..which I believe is wrong, this is a real issue, heck it just does not apply to Chuck, you have other major dealers who can make a dent, just not on Mile Highs magnitude to over flood E-Bay ( they currently have 391,000 listings) andy hit his web traffic at the SAME time based upon his ability to reprice his entire website which was done last week in one keystroke. That is mighty impressive immediate inventory control to say the least. Is english your first language? Mitch has always been more concerned with the larger message than the nuances of grammar or punctuation.
  13. How many days exactly has it been since last contact or post? The was put up on the 20th. The buyer posted several times yesterday. This convo should probably be moved to the General Discussion thread.
  14. Just to clarify, I've never seen a magazine size comic with the MJI in person or in a photo. Sandflea stated he had the run of MP #'s 16-25 with the MJI and no one has to my knowledge corroborated or contested that magazines with the MJI exist. MCS for instance lists hundreds of comics with MJI's on their site, but not a single Magazine size. You'd think after all these years one would have come through their doors. Marvel Preview is a saddle-stitch, is it not? Also, nice find with the ASM #134.
  15. Uncle Scrooge could actually be a pretty good roll model Makes sense. Donald was a pretty good bread model.
  16. There's no squarebound comics with MJI's, so no GS Spidey #4. I'm not familiar with the history of MJI's in magazine size comics, but Sandflea mentioned having a run of Marvel Preview #'s 16-25 with them, so I suppose it's possible #2 has one as it was published after the inserts started appearing in the comics. Thanks for the update!! I really thought that I had seen a MP#2 with one and someone commenting on the boards they hadn't seen one before but that was a while back, wasn't sure.... When you say "squarebound comics" umm what does that mean..? Giant Size Spiderman # 4 was squarbound? Yes, the Giant-Size ASM's are squarebound. If you look inside the cover you'll see a staple that goes through each page, and the cover is glued to the flat part of the spine. On a "saddle stitch" cover staples will go through the top leaf(cover or page) through the centerfold. Hope that makes sense.
