  1. It's still morning here. I'll acknowledge your greeting in a few hours.
  2. Went to two Warfield shows in San Francisco, then a month later they played a "surprise" Halloween show at the Fillmore. Haven't seen them since.
  3. I saw Bauhaus three times, all within about a month or so. This wasn't early Bauhaus, but 2005. They still sounded good to me. There was a vendor that used to set up at larger shows and sell cd's of live performances. You'd pay something like $12-13 before the show started, then 20 minutes or so after the show ended you'd turn in your receipt and get a cd with basic art, but it included show info and set list. http://instantlive.shop.musictoday.com/Dept.aspx?cp=858_4581_8683
  4. That's actually very cute. We need more toddlers being introduced early on to the thrash/death/grindcore genres before their interest is captured by the likes of Taylor Swift and J-Pop.
  5. You must have really handsome feet. Straight toes, no bumps or nothing deformed. But the buyers do not see that. They simply see that there are sneakers or shoes being worn without socks. Now the sandals however, you would see my toes. However, I just looked and I realized that I threw out my sandals since they were unwearable after I actually "blew out my flip flop." (thumbs u
  6. $8? Bin is going up fast. It's got a bid. Can anyone else not see the watch count??? I can't see it any longer.
  7. Ah, I vaguely recall that line now. I grew up with a different version, "A hunting we will go". "A hunting we will go, a hunting we will go high-ho the derry-o, a hunting we will go A hunting we will go, a hunting we will go we'll catch a fox put him in a box and then we'll let him go" Lots of verses with the fox switched out for other animals, anything silly "catch a fish and make a wish", "catch a goose then set it loose", etc., etc. Good times being five years old.
  8. Captain,id.like your thoughts on this...or anyone's. I was liking it. The last line threw me, though.
  9. I have a few singles. Were you at that show? No, just thought it was odd Gang Green was listed as support, and in Boston no less. A good bill, though. I miss those days when you would get 3-4 great bands playing together for $5.
  10. Hi KomicKicks. You'll find most folks here are happy to help with any comic related info you might be looking for.
  11. I hope blazing is having fun, because I've sure enjoyed the discussion. And I've learned a fair bit about the TT I didn't know. +1 I was only ever aware of and read one issue(#30) prior to the later Wolfman/Perez relaunch, but I've appreciated the discussion. There's lots of DC SA info I'm not familiar with. This thread has been quite interesting to me.
  12. You've just established its a Wiki, because someone edited it back. That was quick.
  13. My example was to show the inconsistencies in Wikia articles. The article I linked should be given the same consideration on this topic as the ones you linked. These Wiki's are often unreliable or completely incorrect.
  14. FWIW, the DC Wikia currently states: "The Teen Titans were created by Bob Haney and Bruno Premiani, first appearing in Brave and the Bold #54. (1964)". http://dc.wikia.com/wiki/Teen_Titans
  15. Not a "backwards" record, but Flipper's "Brainwash" 45 single repeated forever. There was a half minute of bass and guitar followed by Bruce saying "Forget it. You wouldn't understand anyway". It rocked out in just the right way we Flipper fans loved.
