Maybe this time someone should drop Overstreet a note.
I also hereby rescind my previous "Huzzah" and "hats off".
They were made well aware last time by multiple people from my understanding.

I lost at $77.77
When I got outbid I asked Eric if I should crack $100+?
By the time I put my $100 plus bid in the auction was over
-
I just bid $77.77 and still lost
Maybe someone thought it might grade out as a 9.0????

If anyone has a problem with me, you can give me a call & discuss it, I have absolutely nothing to hide. The part that everyone forgets in this thread is that I thought the resto was non additive to the current grades making it a blue label. Trimming is not considered restoration, it is damage that is intended to deceive people & shame on anyone who does not note it. There was absolutely no change on my end, I canceled the sales pretty immediately after finding out, actually quite frankly it took longer because I had this really annoying thread to deal with.
Okay then I will bite....please show other examples on “non additive resto” occurring on blue label SA books that aren’t in character labels?
Secondly if you believe that trimming isn’t resto, that goes against the defined OS and CGC standards....are you speaking for the entire hobby, or probably just yourself or are you looking to lobby and have the definitions changed? Being the only person on the planet to believe something doesn’t make it right.

Why??? Read the thread, the Overstreet name has been sullied in this very thread. From "how low is the bar to get in" to "I guess you just gotta buy a big ad"
I consider my biggest success in this hobby was when I became an Advisor (and I didn't have to buy an ad) and things like how low is the bar for Advisorship takes away from the twenty plus years I busted my chops trying to be a success in this business.

Is this the same Dylan that screwed over a bunch of people on the boards (held sales thread, took money, and then ghosted) years ago? I recall posts defending his behavior back then, pointing to his age...
If yes, I’d say that excuse can barely be used once, let alone twice...
Tell us more???

I assure you im not attacking you. Promise
But your points allow me to expand on how I believe this situation to be.
His heart is in the right place for him, his wallet. If his heart was in the right place he would not have sold the books in the way he did.
All he has shown to me is that he is without ethics and morals. Harsh? Yes. Close to the mark on his behaviour? I believe it to be.
There are a handful of people in this hobby I will not do business with. This one just got added to the list.
Chris....see he does miss us, so much so that he spelt behaviour properly!!!

Come on, do you blame him? Look at that map...
We are in a crisis that this world has never seen.
The sooner we realize that we need to forget about stupid things like "comic cons" for a while, the sooner we can hopefully look ahead to next year. There will be no more comic cons this year. Period! Get over it...
Exactly....suck it up and where a frigging mask and write off 2020.
It sure as Hell beats running around Europe for six years with a gun in your hand killing people.
We aren’t being asked of much...previous generations were asked for their lives.

Don’t forget that trimming is not restoration because restoration is when you add stuff to the book, not take away, you can’t have both.
That was a doozy.

Trying to figure out how apparent grading works has been a fools game for twenty years. Every restored book I have ever seen almost always looks better than what the purple label number says. I don’t think it’s worth your time but take a chance and post the results.

I wonder how one makes that happen? Perhaps he is a CGC advisor, too?
Well at least we know the hobby is in good hands.
