Well, it would be hard to top SuperFan Comic Con for being the worst (three days of crickets chirping, promised tens of thousands of attendees), but I've heard many complaints from dealers, artists and attendees alike.

Had to google what that even was...sounds like I'm glad I missed that one too.

I hear the attendance numbers were great, and that the people who did Orillia regret the decision.

Judging by what I have heard this morning...Orillia may have been the biggest debacle in Canadian Comic book convention history, from an attendee, vendor and guest viewpoint.

When you've shutdown your FB page due to all the complaints since last night, it can't be good.

  3. Iceman and I did both Motor City and Nickel City last year but will only be attending Motor City this year...due to us having a surprise 30th BDay party for Eric’s wife on Saturday (hope she doesn’t read the boards)  At Motor City both the Blazing One and Greg Reece will be setup, so you know there will be amazing books to be had.

i even hear there will be a Greggy and JoeyPost sighting at Motor City this year, so you know it will be a quality show.

Blazingbob's face was one of utter shock as they fell like domino's.  Jim's was as if he got caught in the cookie jar when he was little.

I was too scared to even look at your face.

Of course it had to be the row of ASM’s.

JoeyPost was the funniest afterwards when he asked to look at a book from the “Fall Collection”, you know the books that fell LMAO.

OMG I can’t believe that you posted that...Pitch Perfect isn’t my favourite movie but I sure do enjoy a good Pitch Perfect movie...and the first three were classics.

I find it much easier to do shows in Canada by partnering with dealers that I have done a few deals with.

If there are any books that customers wanted to see at a Canadian show I would probably send it up to them.

The website has also been updated with a location code in the Advanced search where Canadian customers can order books that are in Canada and save on US/Canada shipping costs.

So if you wanna see something, you gotta go through me, and you thought Bob was tough :sumo:

    LMAO

4).  You have never conducted business at my booth though some other Canadian(s) seemed to have forgotten to read the dealer manual on that one.

5).  You have never taken out a couple of rows of my wall books while helping me at a show like Jim has.  Still love him but letting him take down books has been deleted from his job resume.

    OMG...these just made my day!!!

Has purchased several key books from us over the past few months and always paid quickly and made a smooth transaction..

You beat me to the punch...Chris has picked up a couple pretty big books lately, and he's been a model customer.

I thought the movie was awesome.

Would definitely go and see it again.

Washes away the stench left by Age of Ultron!

And see I watched Ultron last night, so I could watch something with some plot and story instead of nothing but punching.  If we were all the same, this would be boring.

  10. I just had this exact same discussion with a good customer of mine...

Yes, it would be a silly idea and for all these random reasons...

    - cost

    - there are guys who only collect pre design change slabs

    - old labels in most cases command more, with an old label white pager being the gold standard of graded comic books

    - why would you put your comics through the rigours of reholdering?  Stress during, shipping, cracking of the slab and encapsulation.

    - what if your parcel got lost, sure it’s insured but do you wanna collect them all over again?

    -  what are the benefits, you hang them on your wall as art, or in a short box away from the elements?

Agreed that Winter Soldier and Civil War are the pinnacle of Marvel filmmaking.  Saying Infinity War is bad compared to those two is like saying Toy Story 3 is the worst Toy Story.  They're all knockout films from an individual perspective, but when compared against each other, there will always be a loser.

Didn't say it was bad...just indifferent after my first viewing, will be going again on Monday to soak more of it in.

Absolutely loved it. Let the theater exhausted, like I'd just been through an emotional wringer.

If you don't like this film I'm not sure what you'd even like, comic book wise.

I've said it before ad nauseum, AOU, Winter Soldier and Civil War is THE holy trilogy to me.  Surpassing SW, ESB and Jedi of my youth.  I want to love Infinity War more than anything, and unfortunately I don't.  Of course I'm the guy who would enjoy a superhero movie without an entire punch being thrown, so what do I know.  A two and a half hour UFC card is not for me.  I'd go on further but after all these years I still have no idea how to use spoiler tags, and don't wish to ruin it for anybody.

It actually says Pay after Delivery, and the money is still in the account linked to the debit card. It's scheduled to come out April 25th.

I'm going to have a little chat with the seller. I thought I had found a solid guy.

Guy doesnt have any money in the account, and paypal hasnt sent him a confirmation email that its time to ship...how the hell does he know he’s not being a “solid guy”?
