  1. It would be cool if they did something like the Kid Loki arc. Having him working in the background as the major movie stuff happens and he helps to make sure the right stuff occurs (that help him).
  2. Great painting. When I 1st read the title, I thought it said it was by Donald Glover, and I was like WTF??? is there anything that guy can't do??!?!?!
  3. All of a sudden 80% of heritage's clients live in Florida and Nevada.
  4. I've had my books going from CCS to Received for about a week and a half, still not verified. Plus I still have not gotten billed by CCS yet, usually I get that pretty quickly after Rec'd status.
  5. Has anyone been having issues with turbo Lister? For me, it's been randomly nuking some of my listing pictures, where I'd have 5, all the same resolution, but pictures 1,2 and 5 would get deleted, and picture 3 would become my listing picture. Oh, also it happened on a update where I changed some prices and did a sync. I only noticed because I got alerts on a couple of listings where it removed all my pictures. For about a year now it hasn't let me upload full resolution pics, but this was something new and unexpected.
  6. I am still enjoying most of the movies these days.l, even if it's not until they are on Amazon. but I do feel exactly what you described about the Netflix series, I gave up on iron fist, it was just bad, defenders lost me half way through, I have Jessica Jones 2 episodes, and that was the end for me, they all just feel like the same story, same tone, same beats, over 19 grueling episodes.
  7. A while ago I suggested the term: Crown Jewels. Each is important, valuable and irreplaceable, but there's more than one (and like Pokemon you can try to collect them all)
  8. When I think of "Black Hole" collections. I think of collections that are out of view, the hidden collections that no one knows about, or only a select few (queue the cabal) If they sell, it's under the secrecy of night at a modern day speakeasy with no signs out front where you need a code-word to get in.
  9. I have my favorite stuff on CAF, and almost all my collection on Instagram. I find IG a lot more fun and interactive of a medium for comic art these days. Specifically because it's not all OA collectors.
  10. So, I was bored and started poking around eBay, and found this page linked to my "invalid return policies" https://pages.ebay.com/seller-center/seller-updates/2018-spring/simplified-returns.html So, they have decided to do 30 day, or no returns in most categories. But, Collectibles can still use 14 days, so none of my comic listings are barking at me. The stuff that is giving the errors are things in "Toys" and "Video Games" for me. But it's a bit wonky, because shouldn't collectible toys like vintage GI Joe be considered "collectibles"? It's just the continued bad efforts of eBay, instead of differentiating itself from Amazon, trying to become a bad knock off of it.
  11. I don't know, maybe it's more for the second teir of stuff that it matters if it's fresh to market? The good stuff will always find crazy money. Do you think anything in Dave Mandel's gallery has lost value because it's been on caf? That said, I guess it's the old adage of why take the risk? Not showing it publicly won't hurt the value, but showing it might. So protect your investment. All of that said, I've had most of my collection in caf at one time or another, but I also have a minor collection, compared to most around here.
  12. I get them all the time, I've ignored them. The listings still show, with the return policy I want (I think the issue is some categories they require 30 say returns)
  13. Just like Amazon you say? This is what a listing for cobra Commander on eBay brought up today, never seen "often bought together" in eBay before.
  14. I saw that as well, it just keeps getting worse on their site! At least they have not reset my opt-out of the Global Shipping program in the last 6 months.
  15. I like it, especially if you're going to display it out and about in the house, gives visitors some context to the discussion piece.
  16. I think it was on IG he was talking about how he's only going after "big game" after getting the All Star Superman cover. So if he had money burning a hole in his pocket, i'm sure that took a chunk out of it. But I have no idea if he bid and/or won. I just thought he wasn't as active.
  17. I was really surprised by the hammer on the Quitely Invisibles page. I thought i had a shot at it at my bid of $1500, it shot up another 1k. I thought the Quitely market would soften a little without Pitarra buying every page that exists. But it looks like his market continues to move.
  18. I had a 25 book modern sub with quick press. I don't have all my details in front of me, but according to the site, I had an invoice date of 6/19 and it was shipped to me on 8/16. non-fast track. you may want to call them to see what's up. I had my books stuck at received for a while after the press as well, had to call to get them into verified again, I have no clue what pile they were sitting in that happened.
  19. I love the ones that also give eBay bucks on selling as well. With only 1 month to use the eBay bucks I bet redemption is around 60% or less. I sometimes have a hard time finding something I really want with them.
  20. I kind of love the non sequiturs. A description of his process. And how condition is an issue. But nowhere did he say that the damage was done by norem. It was taped down, but does not say who taped it down. He's making leading statements, but very careful to let the reader fill in the blanks This is such horse poop, and he's an obvious con artist.
  21. I can think of 1 time. In Fringe, the alternate universe, comic art was considered "real art" and was up on the walls of some of the apartments. I believe they even consigned someone to re-draw alternate universe version of some famous covers. But, I also would be wiling to bet that there are a number of crossover collectors. So it's not blowing my mind they have some OA. Profiles in History even sometimes has a random page of OA in their auctions.
  22. All i can tell you is my wife knows I paid exactly $100 for each piece of art I own.
