  1. So to sum up, lack of original thought and being a blowhard are frowned upon by you. = summing done
  2. Finally a friday thread!!! Oh did Dale hold ppls up for money...seems like half the ppls that bought from him are having to sell books back to the community
  3. Thats what I use too! Then you don't need to worry about being shilled up and can set it and forget it.
  4. I think it is too many pills that are causing the issues
  5. James that is awesome! Should get a print of the scene where he is standing by it.
  6. http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=7353162Post7353162 If it was seriously that easy make it harder next time Considering that knob what also the buffoon who would take things from the PIF thread, then never ship them. It was only when the process began to put him on the P.L., did he actually send the books out. He had taken 3 or 4 items, but then never sent out his offerings that got taken. He was also one of the main culprits of the "take a high end PIF item, then offer up 3 or 4 dollar books in exchange." Quite literally, he may have been the one who sent the Pay It Forward thread to "junk donkey" land. I agree. In fact I didn't know he was still around. Sigh..... Especially considering his FDQ exit a few months ago, when he said he just wanted to sell everything and get out of the hobby. Of course, for some people, the truth just cannot be told. Man, that dude sounds really annoying. I didn't realize he had that much history. I was pretty sure he thought I mailed the book when I provided tracking so he just ignored the PM until it didn't show up. That is quite awesome tbh: Here is your tracking number & don't forget to pay me, oh I won't...week later...where is my book?
  7. You've got twice as much head as everyone else.

  9. Now I gotta spend the rest of the morning trying to figure out who this is... Glad you will I thought about it but was way too lazy. Hope to see you at NF. Assume you have the booth(s) already booked up?
  10. Seems to be a growing trend that money has to be sent up front Joey now asks for it for similar reasons. Mind you I don't blame you guys at all. You doing NF Con in June?
  11. Even if someone was negotiating a transaction openly with a HOS, you are not allowed to point out their status. It is upon all members to reference the HOS-PL. I assume one could still PM the Boardie with a personal FYI, yes? Hard to warn someone if the thread is in the open but someone is PMing to get a better deal or time payments or remain anonymous and no one knows about it.
  12. Yes yes you should... Probably 3 like 67, 74 and 78 Happy Bday good sir!
  13. I guess ppls just don't learn how to try and dig themselves out of a hole
  14. +1 (thumbs u +2 Now redo some of the clubs that I am in Starting with the AF 15 and JIM 83 clubs. Nah I don't have those books...you won't share! Do you still have that SC 22? Yuppers. Only 3 reasons I would sell it now: - MFC 73 - Job aka need money - Upgrade (but that won't be happening as I have too many wish list books No one likes that web guy

  17. Wow, the most expensive tablecloth in the world. Great shot Wowzer and a half Registry 2014?
  18. That is spot on. Without moderator intervention that would block a user from the sales forums, it is impossible to enforce them not selling here. Just as we can post a message in an incomplete Sales Thread stating the sales rules, we might be able to do the same with a PL/HOS member. But if we try it that should be short, polite and to the point without any editorializing. Something along the line of just: Hello Member - If you are not aware, you were placed on the PL/HOS list on 1/1/14. You can visit that here (supply link to the nomination) if you want to add to the existing discussion. It is 50/50 is the mods would consider that thread krapping. And with the way they've been the last few weeks, it would be a thread-krapping strike for sure. Just add GLWTS That one is also being added to the "violation" list the mods have. I couldn't resist
  19. I shipped to parcels the other day one from Niagara Falls to Vancouver and the other from Niagara Falls to California...wanna bet which one gets their first? Give you a hint Vancouver has a 5 day guarantee, California a 4 day...Figure that one out. Really depends on 1 seller to fill out the forms properly/get it out the door & customs to leave it alone.
  20. It is 4-5 business days, which is only 2-3 more than your "2 day priority". So if you paid me on the weekend you in theory could have the book by the end of the week. Unless you planned on flipping a hot book and afraid it was just gunna burst like these moderns, I would gladly wait 2 days extra to get a book I wanted.

  22. Sold mine on the bay for $70 just a couple days ago...was basically $6.66 shipping as they got 3 books and shipping from the north was $20. i hear ya. i think being from Canada probably held down the price. i know i pass them by do to how long shipping takes It wasn't auction (Bin). But shipping should be 4 business days mind you with Chicago junk up it has taken 15 days (not business) and still not there
