  1. My last value slow track submission came back in 32 business days...beating the 40 business day published TAT by 8 days (received at CGC on 2/17, in my hands on 4/2). I think my last econ submittal beat TAT as well, others here have had similar experiences in the last month or two but I think that window has now closed with the new label delays. You beat the CURRENT TaTs and I am sure you were pumped about that...have you beat the estimated turn around time (20 business days) for a modern slow track? Why even put that on the page if you haven't met it in years.
  2. They are. In today's society of instant gratification on almost every level, individual's expectations have become unreasonable. Which is why proper expectation setting by a business on what it can deliver and when it can deliver it is even more important. You are now combating a societal norm of I want it my way and I want it now. CGC and other businesses aren't doing themselves any favors by setting and failing to meet their own set expectations. Agreed. If CGC said MFT was 30 business days and you get it in 25 you are however when they set it at 10 and you get it in 15 you are . I still don't understand why they have "estimated" and "current" turn around times. They haven't hit Modern, econ or value slow tracks TAT's for years now.
  3. So if a seller can't grade and/or package books properly.....how would potential buyers know? I guess the lack of positive feedback would be the give away. Or be like the hundreds of sellers on here that don't have a feedback thread because the feedback thread is useless. It is sort of like references: Current boss - ya he is a great worker (honestly meaning it) Current boss - ya he is a great worker (I hope he gets this job so I can replace him) Landlord - oh he was great paid rent on time and very clean Landlord - oh he was great *never paid rent, place is a mess please take him off my hands to prevent me from the long hard task of eviction*
  4. Actually, yeah. A couple of those stores have started price matching Amazon....so I tell the manager himself if it's cheaper on Amazon. Yeah, I've got to say I've done the same. I walk into Best Buy, TRU and even Macy's and scan things I am interested in. Best Buy and TRU say that they will match the price on Amazon or any other major competitor's online site. I have no problem holding them to it. Item must be in stock... A sale from 6 months ago isn't in stock
  5. CC has gone the same route as well. Someone pointed out that posting a back cover scan only hurts sales doesn't help it.
  6. As good as those numbers it still haven't done as well in the worldwide box office as Nolans Batman Trilogy. Are we looking at the same numbers for international? Batman Begins $167M Dark Knight $470M DKR $636M it wasn't until the 3rd installment that Nolan's Batman beat out BvS... I wonder how JLA 2 will do overall compared to the above numbers.
  7. If you haven't already send him a pm and find out whats going on and when to expect payment, even though your doing time payments the first one shouldn't be 30 days + without asking first.
  8. That person has been on and off the PL list IIRC before. May want to prod him a bit.
  9. You have to be joking, please tell me you are joking. If not, you actually think buyers should have to pay more for a pic of the book ? You've just been cak'd and it feels so good
  10. I wonder how many people it will take for him to realize he is in the wrong.
  11. Good thing it'd not up to your opinion go discuss a books value somewhere else not in someone's "booth"
  12. Only do turtle here! I wish they would actually adhere to their own statements: *FastTrack cuts its corresponding tiers turnaround time in half. Yea, our books would be done in 24 working days Now go buy that hulk with the money you've saved by not fast tracking
  13. Only do turtle here! I wish they would actually adhere to their own statements: *FastTrack cuts its corresponding tiers turnaround time in half.
  14. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Amazing-Fantasy-15-CGC-1-5-SoS-Stan-Lee-Signed-1st-Appearance-Of-Spider-Man-/191846317582?hash=item2caaee7e0e:g:y-AAAOSw8RJXCxqa Seems like a very strong price thus far...mind you the bidding looks suspect but the guy with 176 feedback was willing to do 6300.
  15. Pretty Little Liars is a twisted show. My daughter watches it as well. My wife and all her friends have their weekly watching of Pretty Little Liars.
  16. You wanted a chance to repair your reputation and Rich, against his better judgement, gave you that chance. And you dropped the ball. When you get a second chance jump on it without delay. All I can suggest is a sincere pm to Rich begging for one last, last, really last and only last chance. Promising to pay immediately for a similar value book to the one you failed to pay for. Rich has made it clear he wants no more contact with this person. I can't help trying to fix things.......how's your garburator? Don't put your hand in first!!!
  17. Purely a guess this was a relatively old book based on the serial number and they adjusted their policy there afterwards that inside = blue...outside = green
  18. You are happy with the trade. The guy who got the AF15 is happy with the trade. Both of you are clearly knowledgeable so no one was swindled so that is all that matters.
  19. Does it come with paperwork from the the verification? Only reason I ask is cause CGC wouldn't have even looked at that paperwork so be a good piece to accompany the slab.
  20. What you don't get the humor in a person saying their collecting preference is wrong and rubbing salt in wound and yet that same person would tell you that buying a Dell'Otto super rare variant that only 17 exist and that its super rare and the print run is next to zero and only 1 copy is ever for sale and no one else can find these books is better than a TMNT 1? What the hell are you run-on sentencing about ? *I'M* the one who originally said there's no point in rubbing salt in the wound. The rest of that nonsense in your post is just a massive fart from your imagination. -J. Don't worry Dell'Otto stuff so rare so valuable me likely long time. Oh so rare! So rare ebay has no bookie! His stuff muchoawesomo! Better den stinky turtle! JarJar know he books is better den your books cause he books are better If you could see my sig line you'd realize how foolish you look right now.... -J. What does your sig line have anything to do with it? You spend money on comics Why was it a bad trade? Let's hear your reasoning. Was it because you think AF15 is a better book? My books > books! Was it because AF15 has grown more since then? Irrelevant as at the time they were similar value and unless they sell them $ means nothing at this point Honestly why was it not a great trade for the guy with the AF15? Any day of the week you can buy one. Not so much for turtles.
