  1. Well, my Argentina books I submitted finally came in Saturday. Was a bit surprised, in that I was expecting the grades to be .2 less than what I received, with the exception of a few that were right on, and a couple that were higher. Now the #10 is courtesy of JJ Overall, I'm very happy with my new set, with the exception of 2 and 3
  2. That auction should be interesting. Although, something about the bidding seems a bit fishy to me. Could be wrong, but that's a seriously large leap in one day
  3. I'll need to take a look. I never really looked at any of the covers as the worse, so much as not worth remembering I do agree the #75 Ultimate Edition is pretty bad. Unless, you get some sweet sketches done on all that blank paper
  4. Interesting Everyone seems to agree 9 is awesome, but I like that everyone seems to have one issue they like throughout the series. Just about a hour till the show
  5. Ah yes, número four. I bet the one thing everyone's top cover will have in common, Tony Moore
  6. There's some time to burn before I get to indulge in some walker goodness, so I figure I'll find out what everyone's top three covers are. I'll start #9 #19 and my third favorite cover... #16 Should be interesting to see which covers everyone else holds near and dear
  7. Thank you,I have a bunch of stuff on here check it out.I would love to see what you think. (thumbs u Finally went through all the art on here, and you sir have some awesome drawings very nice portraits (thumbs u
  8. Couldn't agree more (thumbs u Can we just skip to next Sunday??
  9. Simply awesome. Thanks Oakman. I'm working on some scripts for a comic series, and I figure it's time to knock a bit of rust off, so I can do some preliminary artwork. Is that..... uh, is that...... a BATARANG EBBEDED INTO SPAWNS FOREHEAD !!! Yeah, it's from one of the Batman Spawn books from the 90's. At the end of the book, Batman embeds a batarang into Spawn's skull. Think they did some Spawn books where he had stitches in the middle of his head as well. Thats awesome work..I had this book and I remember seeing that picture at the end and was like im going to draw that so I did..Dont have the pic anymore as I drew it about 8 years ago and lost all my work in a fire..So all I have is left is whats on these boards Sorry to hear you lost your stuff in a fire I always loved those Spawn splash pages. I actually cut that book up and kept the splashes to draw later only comic I chopped up, most pictures I kept were from old Wizard mags. Just cut out what I liked and kept a portfolio of items to draw later. Thanks for the input, I have some more original material coming

  12. I haven't drawn in nearly 10 years, and I've decided to get back into it I just finished this one today, and it was just like riding a bike. Let me know what you think
  13. It was one of Hershel's men, I think Otis (need to read my TPB again ) In the previews for the next episode, they have Rick running up to the farm, and they ask if he was bit. Rick replies he was shot by one of his men.
  14. hit the nail on the head I have the full run of "regular" WDs and just dont get the weekly s but i dont knock anyone who wants to collect them (thumbs u I was a bit on the fence about collecting the Weekly's but I'm one of those guys who just had to have them since they existed What started as a goal to build a 9.8 regular set, has spread like a wild fire into pretty much any WD book you can slab
  15. Not many people like the Weekly issues. I can understand why, detracts from the original set, milking the series for even more money, etc. etc. Anyone who would want to catch up on the series could just buy the TPB. Regardless, I still collect them
