  1. I don't know how I forgot about that Season two, going out with a bang. Season three is looking to be pretty exciting
  2. I believe they have a CGC 9.9 SS with sketch Last I heard, they had two 9.9 copies with sketches that haven't been offered for sale yet. Bet those books are pretty
  3. http://www.ebay.com/itm/THE-WALKING-DEAD-CGC-9-8-SIGNATURE-SERIES-SIGNED-DOUBLE-SKETCHED-WITH-COA-/120877153870?pt=US_Comic_Books&hash=item1c24d6fe4e Wow, I wonder what this will go for
  4. The Weekly series, which reprint the original run to issue 52, are not really second prints, per say. There are only 6 true second prints of the original release, 2, 7, 8, 33, 34, and 50. I think the unusually high prices seen on those particular Weekly issues, won't justify grading in the long run. 1, 19, and 27 may see decent prices later on, but most issues will eventually dump I know most people in the know, do not care for the Weekly series, and most avoided it. It was Kirkman milking the series, and it detracts from the original release. If you can get the mentioned issues in 9.8 raw, at cover price, I think money will be decent for the time being. Problem is, they are mostly abused. I'm about 3 issues short of a complete Weekly 9.8 set, and it is getting harder and harder to find gradeable material
  5. Someone probably pulled the trigger not knowing what they were buying. That's what I'm thinking. All of his other listings show non-weeklies and have actual photos not just stock photo like that one so seller clearly know the difference between weeklies and regulars. Also sold the Larsen 50 for $80 This does not surprise me one bit. Weekly's, in light of the high prices, are doing well. There's a #19 Weekly universal 9.8 going for around $100 with a day left. http://www.ebay.com/itm/THE-WALKING-DEAD-WEEKLY-19-GRADED-CGC-9-8-FIRST-APPEARANCE-of-MICHONNE-/260972884746?pt=US_Comic_Books&hash=item3cc332330a Any issues from 1-5, 19, and 27, in the Weekly series, sell for enough to warrant grading them... for now It's mostly new collector's getting caught up in the tornado. Even Argentina books, early issues, are seeing a decent bump in price. I just sold a 9.4 #1 for about $127
  6. I wish Tony and Robert weren't going through their problems. Would have really liked to have seen a Tony Moore variant cover
  7. +19 "You know you want to" "Don't do it, you'll regret it" Which one do you want to listen to
  8. Agreed, thought for sure that it would go down that way.
  9. I just sold a #3 Weekly universal 9.8 for $46 I wouldn't be surprised to see a true auction format on the Weekly #1 9.8 hit $100 range, maybe more for a SS with Kirkman and Moore. There's alot of buyers out there who have been bitten by the bug. Most just associate the fact that an issue is #1, and then proceed to bid the item up to acquire it. Certainly a good time to sell
  10. Doug, your awesome in my book Extra points for having SS books of your own work
  11. The Pope??? Is there suppose to be any sort of con special variant or items for The Walking Dead? Yep, variant of issue 94 with a sweet Michonne cover
  12. Looks like season 2 is going to end strong Rick is about to open up a can on Shane
  13. Considering the prices WD books are getting right now, perhaps AMC should have stock piled a bunch of 9.8's 1-5 before the show ever aired. They could have used the money to fund the budget
  14. Wow! Makes me wonder what this will hammer at: http://www.ebay.com/itm/260955189660?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 @ 750 now with 2 days to go. Wouldn't be surprised if it hits 1K+ They seem to be getting consistent at that price on the bay. I still find it odd that the 9.0 is as high as it is
