  1. Seems to me that taking a signed book to Chumlee instead of wasting money submitting it to somebody to verify it was signed by whomever signed it is the way to go.
  2. That is not the issue, although your statement is worded in a manner that causes the reader to think USPS is profitable and has that amount of free cash flow, which they don't. What is misinformation? Having cash has not a thing to do with being financially solvent if the cash doesn't cover the debt. In a logical world, the USPS would have been out of business a very long time ago. BTW, the cash amount you state is not a correct amount, nor is it free cash assets. Not even close. Again, what is the misinformation? Do they not have a Contract with FedEx? Did they not have a significant increase in insurance claims? Did they not approach the commission with a rate increase request? They were not chided in the last funding round for the financial shortfall and foolish expenditures?
  3. Then USPS didn't lose money, in the several millions, and they didn't approach the commission this past week for an increase in the cost of stamps, and they don't have a sizable Contract with Fed Ex, for which the USPS was called to the front of the class during the last funding round and they committed to improvement financially? The Fed Ex trucks I see at the USPS main facility are not Fed Ex? USPS insurance claims did not increase 26%?
  4. ....and they still managed to lose a gazillion dollars this year, and have the nerve to present their financial situation for more money via another raise in the cost of stamps and services. But, don't forget, Fed Ex handles a sizable portion of the USPS package transportation. So there is that.
  5. O, and don't forget the P, never forget the P. It isn't worth investing if there is no P.
  6. Don't know if this helps, but if the primary checking account has not processed a check or transaction by you....as opposed to a linked fund transaction.... in the last six months, many banks (eventually all very shortly) have instituted a confirmation process, due to some recent bank regs that have kicked in. Probably does not apply to you, but you never know.
  7. A long time ago, a family member was fascinated with Johnny Quest. I would stop buy the local B&M hobby store and buy the latest one as a gift. Over time, it was almost a complete collection. There were 4 that had double covers. My thoughts about this at the time was shoddy quality control, so I would flip thru other comics when I made my usual stop to buy another Johnny Quest. Within a very short period of time, I was surprised how many different comics had double covers. I then became fascinated myself, and would stop in, go thru the comics without regard to what or who the subject matter or hero or artist was (a sin, I know), and over a period of a couple of years, I had 2 boxes of double covers. I still have them. I don't know why I do, but I think it is because it somehow soothes my psyche into acknowledging that I accomplished something, which I have not. So, there is that.
  8. ....as are the buyers that partake in this silly tactic.
  9. Do the board cyber fixer guys use dial up? It may be faster than this morning.
  10. When the screen that blowupthemoon posted came up, you are locked out. If you are on the forum and hit the back arrow, it also pops up. BTW, you posted a few minutes ago. It took me 3 times again to get on. The problem has been intermittent but continuous for the last 2 hours, especially on the WC.
  11. The same thing will happen. If you hit the back arrow, you get the request block notice. The only workaround I seem to be able to do is go to the top of the screen and hit Chat boards or forums and then re-enter that way.
  12. $10.00 in the back alley behind hotel, early A.M. On game day, it is a bit more. Early=5:30-6:00 A.M.
  13. It has been working since then. I just now signed in as usual in usual manner. It has gone out 5-6 times today. Yes, I know a little about the CGC WC, just a little, though. I was being a smardazz. Thank you.
  14. Note to CGC: Hire the NGC cyber stuff guy/girl/it. Has not had a problem all day. It also has a water cooler. and you can go to the upper left and click on browse, and then click on registry and then click on CGC and voila, can get into CGC.
  15. Click on sign in, upper right hand drop down menu under board name. New fashion design sign in menu pops up in right hand corner Sign in on it, and tadaaaaa, the old sign in menu pops up in usual location on screen. Sign in again, and.....wow.....taken to the boards Magic. I am in awe. But, when you click on the forum, well, you made an error. No soup for you. Sign out (that took a few moments to figure out) sign back in and rinse and repeat. Wacky Wednesday Keyboard Therapy. I think I passed, because I am here. Good job, CGC cyber guy/girl/it, keeping me sharp.
  16. I am back in, and I am sure there will be many smiley faces that I made it. While I could not sign in to CGC, I could sign in to NGC. Hmmmmm. I could also sign in to the CGC Contact US page and send an email that I could not sign in.
  17. I already know the answer when I post. So, my vote would not be important.
  18. Are you seriously asking a dumazz question because you are comprehension challenged? What do you give a krap what I am asking? Vote or don't vote yourself, but get off my lawn. I am not referring to MY own content. Sheesh. I was voting FOR the idea by Bosco, dufus. For the record, I never post pictures or videos. I don't know you. Leave me alone. The Badger.
