  1. Uncanny X-Men 282 not having any movement with Bishop being in the new X-Men movie? Or do I have to go one forum to the right too?
  2. Yup, the show has gotten really good for sure. Now, what about Skye's natural born powers that were mentioned a while back? How is this all going to come together? BTW, I want do do all the laundry for all the women on that show...
  3. Here are my OO, bought personally off the rack Uncanny X-Men books. Great reading! I remember vividly my friend telling me that 175 had just arrived at the corner store...I smashed the receiver down and literally RAN to the store to buy and read it
  4. Thanks! I have all the Transformers books as well...I'll gig 'em out and post a pic. My Thor books too.
  5. Here is a (cpappy) pic of my OO, purchased-off-the-shelf Wolverine mini. Funny to se the changeover in pricing for us Canucks!
  6. What more could you ask for? a bag of chips? KETCHUP chips! And a Coffee Crisp!
  7. I'm enjoying AoS more and more each episode (though have enjoyed it from the beginning). I'm also taking it as more a vehicle to explain Coulson's story more than anything else, and segue into the movies.
  8. Actually, there were DC .60 US/.75 Can. editions, as evidenced by the .75 DC Comics Presents 53 in my pic (top right corner...that I bought off the stand myself):
  9. As promised, here's a shot of maybe half or less of the Canadian priced books I have: There are a few odd ones I've made more visible...again, if you've any requests I'd be happy to search them and post pics!
  10. Since we've been talking about these things in a few threads over that last long while, I'll start the official thread. Notice the V****** stand for: I'm Canadian, and had been buying comics off the news stand since 1980 or so, and while going through all my stuff I realized that I must have well over half (if not much more) of all the Marvel Canadian priced covers, and quite a few DCs. More .75 versions than the .95 ones though I have quite a few of those too. I also seem to have a lot of the weirdish ones as well. I'll start posting pics of the interesting ones once I get home (or if anyone has any requests, I'm happy to go through mine and post 'em). Should be interesting!
  11. Is the DHP 36 in demand at all? I've got a few copies of each cover hanging around here somewhere...
  12. did you ever find the Canadian Batman 423??? Was he looking for one? Gotta check my copy... if you have the canadian then you are my newest best friend! Well, my 423 was a direct copy I did find my 404, 355 and 360 are Canadian NS copies though. Also found a nid-grade copy of Marvel Premiere 15...but I digress.
  13. did you ever find the Canadian Batman 423??? Was he looking for one? Gotta check my copy...
  14. Loking forward to season2! I plowed through the first season over the last couple of weeks and really enjoyed it. And all the female eye candy definitely helped
  15. First scene in next year's season opener has already been shot!
  16. Why didn't the zombie delivery truck smash through the inner gates on the prison and drop off the zombies? This is why I thought it was Andrea. Causing what she knew would be easily handled damage, and she'd be able to get there and in without being thought of by the Governor. I could be in left field as well of course...just the first thing that entered my mind when the scene aired.
  17. I think I posted this pic in this thread before, though with the EH love happening, I'll post it again: And yes that is three copies of Iron Man 55 EH edition
  18. I actually loved Paul Smith's work on the book. The stories were just terrible though, light a light bulb got switched off or something. Mutant Massacre and Fall of the Mutants were okay, though don't stand the test of time. Heck, the Brood Saga is one of the most underrated story lines of all time. Great stuff there.
