  1. Here are the only western books in the largeish Atlas collection I grabbed recently...pretty cool books!
  2. They weren't free, though I got a good deal as I bought a pretty large quantity of books overall. I'm just going through and grading them now
  3. Not sure how many of you saw my post on the Garage Sale/Flea Market Finds thread over in general. This pic fits here too
  4. Thanks! Unfortunately not, Nor 24 or 27. Such COOL books to read though!
  5. I've only been making you all wait 10 years. it's not THAT long.
  6. That's my favorite book in there actually!! I think I'm going to grab the low grade Young Men 25 and solid midgrade and tight 26 I didn't grab yet!
  7. I was just talking with a friend about Smallville. If WB is truly going to keep the TV and movie franchises away from each other, it would be totally amazing and smart if they brought in Welling as Superman as an occasional guest star on all the WB superhero shows.
  8. Astro? Only book store in Montreal who would even know what those are. Not Astro! A totally unknown player! They're all pretty solid books though. I believe they'll be moved on to peeps who'll appreciate them more soon though
  9. Whelp, picked these up at a used book store I frequent. Didn't get them for cover...got a good deal though! And that Mr. Mystery has really really white pages!!
  10. Just curious whether Superboy 1 is an easier or tougher Whitman to find. I picked up a nice copy a few years back and haven't found too much info on it.
  11. Watched this last night. I'm not a fan of the original Mad Max stuff...figured I'd give it a try. I pretty much hated it from beginning to end. I can see the imagined depth and feministic views purported all over the net, though all I saw was a long, kinda crappy chase scene lasting a couple hours. Yep...nope.
  12. I actually quite enjoyed the Ultimate FF books, and I have no problem with the studio going in that direction as long as the movie is simply GOOD. As much as I love Jessica Alba, I couldn't even finish watching the second one (and I was pretty easy going on comic book movies back then). I'll likely see it in the theater...maybe
  13. Watching the trailer, this looks like it'll be an unwatchable mess except if they can get a decent DKR style fight in. Again, it looks dark and lots of mass, generic destruction happening. The worst is that Batman had to explain his feelings about Superman...which was quite unnecessary in DKR. I know it's a different medium, so I guess they gotta dumb it down for the civilians. Still...
  14. Was a great season and great finale actually. A number of parts made me yell out actually There are tons things that can happen if Barry really does get sucked into Earth 2, including him bringing back the real Dr. Wells from there. Assuming Wells also lost his wife in that reality, he might have become destitute or a recluse with nothing to live for at all (maybe even about to commit suicide), and Barry decides to bring him back to the original reality. Cisco might even be able to see that that action would be fine and not cause a timeline ripple. Just sayin'...
  15. Plattsburgh, baby!! I dunno...I just always wanted them. And I needed more books so I could pay with my debit card! Too bad the Invincible has that gash in the middle of the cover
  16. Little find while going through the contents of a clean little antique shop, small town upstate New York:
  17. Will start filming right here in my home town In April!
  18. It's the soft cover. Thanks for the info!
