    Grumpy old man moment…

I would argue that with a multi-verse, there’s little point making any movies.

Agree completely...I feel it's ruined a lot of what the first phases have built.  I'm not a Dr. Doom fan at all either and I don't see why he's so popular overall.  Maybe Doom can see that the multiverse is the real threat and fight to end it?

Put me down for a Restored (Purple Label) Grade of Apparent 3.5 (C-3).  Quality = Poor; Quantity = Moderate.  :foryou:

I had considered a purple label as well though the unsightly scraping on a GA book like this hopefully would garner a blue label.  Another reason I posted this book here, to see what the other experts thought :)

  3. Well this should be a fun one.  I got this book here on these very boards 15 years ago or so, and I kinda forgot I had it!

It's so solid and nice...though it looks like at some point sine 1942 someone drew moustaches and beards in the guys on the cover, and someone has removed the ink (as well as some writing on the lower right side of the cover).

Wondering what the concensus on the grade would be with you guys!

I've always wondered, what version of Wolvie 1 did the Canadians get, before they went with the full CPV.

There's 3 or more insignia box's on issue 1, surely one of them applies to the Canadian market??

We indeed got the regular newsstand issue with the North American 60 cent cover price...CPV started at #2.  I have my copies of the whole Wolvie MS I bought off the stands at the Perette's corner store on the corner of 90th Ave. and Lasalle Boulevard. I'll send you a pic later ;)

  5. Good stuff!!  I sold off 0.003% of my collection a year ago (UXM 1-12 and a handful of atomic age books) for a goog chunk of cash, and I still don't regret it actually.  Now I have another 150 or so keys/good books that I'll be moving soon, likely through MCS. I'm being lazy though...gotta get it done as well!
