  2. I'm off to see it tonight. Can't wait. Although I'm more excited about the fact thats it's only 1 month till Prometheus What did you think of the movie? or Lots of fun. First half was a little slow but once someone turned a little angry it just got mental. Definately off to see it again if I get a chance. Without spoiling it, standout points were; Hulk v Loki Hulk v Thor (Grand in Grand Central Station) The whole cinema burst into laughter. Yeah it certainly had the desired effect
  3. I'll be there! Will be my first big convention! I'm excited already! Is there any official word yet, that it's definitely happening? I heard it was, same place around the same time. I was assuming that it would happen again in February 2013. I sure hope so. Looking at all the artists they had invited it must have been a success!? Fingers crossed - All the dealers that attended were positive about the event.

  14. +1 I used to love Saturday mornings as it meant a trip to the indoor market to pick up some more comic treasures...I only wish I'd kept hold of more of those old issues but I probably read them till they fell apart!
  15. My LCS was pretty good for new releases and I always had the pick when it came to my standing order. Since I stopped my standing order a year or so back I rarely pick any back issues up from them as it's only a very small part of their business...
  16. I can remember the good old days when the indoor markets in Newport & Cardiff had stalls selling comics dirt cheap...some of the comics weren't in the greatest condition but that didn't matter in those days it was all about the reading and not the collecting of comic books I truly am a child of the 1970's
  17. I hadn't heard that Gosh had gone? Last I heard A Place In Space was in the process of relocating...that was Feb this year? It's comics for masses and I would think that for FP...comics are only a small part of their trade but I could be wrong
