Looking at that (great) cover it really should read "are you game enough to pull my finger?".

Don’t have too much chance to read with a toddler and a 101 things to do around the house but I have gotten through a couple of books recently. Completed Vanilla Ride – Joe R Lansdale Pretty standard for a Hap Collins & Leonard Pine crime mystery but it’s always good to have Hap & Leonard around, so for me even an average instalment is better than 99.9% of the stuff out there. The Strain – Guillermo del Toro and Chuck Hogan An interesting vampire novel by cult director and Hellboy boy Guillermo del Toro ably assisted by Chuck Hogan. This novel isn’t anything special and is derivative of several others including Stoker’s Dracula but the story is fast paced with interesting characters so that makes for an entertaining read. In Progress Killing The Shadows – Val McDermid About 150 pages in and thoroughly enjoying this “serial-killer with a twist” thriller. Cheers PCC

Chris is a good bloke EVEN if he isn't Welsh The vast majority of boarders be they old or new have no hidden agenda and are members of this community to discuss a hobby that we all share. Simple as that To level a "membership tax" would restrict the board to an "old boys network" and drive away the majority of casual boarders. This would be a death-knell to this or any other online community if you ask me...In fact to my mind we should be discussing ways to increase the membership of people taking part in our hobby and community not looking at ways to restrict it. And I agree with him...some of the most obnoxious/untrustworthy people in the hobby have a lot of money. On the other hand, somebody like Liaton is just getting into the hobby, is still at school, but is an all-round good egg. But he couldn't afford to join up. We're throwing the baby out with the bath water here...and we still won't nail the psychos. +1 (thumbs u If it comes down to some exclusive club that you have to "splash the cash" to join then you can count me out...A discussion forum should be available to everyone not just those that can afford it. Well, I've met PCC and he's a nice guy and I can have a good discussion about comics and other stuff with him and if it's a choice of him being on the boartds or you, then I'd rather have him without a seconds hesitation. I'm not saying that there is no logic to anything you're saying but as others have suggested, why not start your own comic forum that is set up for what you believe is wanted/needed? Hi Gaz

Oh now I've taken it too low into the gutter? I'm attacked for some ridiculous (and mind you innocent) edit in my post and somehow I'm a drama queen, etc? Where the EFF are any of you guys discussing the matter at hand? A forum member's life was threatened. That is where my head is at. All this other BS is just that BS. Cal's agenda? Who cares? I edited my post to make it more clear I meant Cal...who cares? None of it means anything except to a few lonely post count junkies on this forum who like to think they are better than everyone else because they happened to join the forum years ago and have a post count to prove it. It's all nonsense. I won't sit back and be attacked for nothing. Whenever someone stands up to bullies on this forum and calls them out on it...suddenly they are drama queens or cry babies. Well, I've had enough. I'll stoop down to the level that I see here on a daily basis if that's what it takes. And, as someone who actually thinks this forum has a lot of good to offer...it's too often guys like some in this thread turn it into arguing and bickering. I can only imagine what their home lives are like. Pathetic really. And if my life was threatened, I would be quite happy if someone on the forum offered to help me with some law enforcement officers. But hey, that's just me. I'll be checking that one out. Not sure that Winstone (who I like as an actor) is right to fill John Thaw's shoes, but he's always worth a watch. As long as they don't let Danny Dyer within a 100 mile radius, it might just turn out ok.
