Nice haul

I've got a soft spot for both but there's something about the look of Man-Thing that frightened me more as a kid (thumbs u The run Steve Gerber put together on Man Thing is quite rightly now considered a cult classic. I'm afraid I can't make the Saturday as I'm going to the rugby (or peanut hugging as Bane calls it). Gutted I'm going to miss the Saturday get together I'm sure you'll have a great time as the guys are a great bunch...but they do like their beer mind so bring your drinking boots (thumbs u Damn, Saturday is the day that I'm likeliest to be there so I'll probably miss you, mate. Ah well, I guess it won't be too long till we have the next booze up for the sake of it. That's a pity, it would have been great to have met up. I'm sure we won't have to wait too long before Nick feels the urge to arrange a booze up Thats if you don't do another Houdini on us I wanted to make it but work and family held me hostage.

Been reading the thread with interest! I don't own any slabbed books and I'm kind of put of by the whole concept. However I've been tempted recently as I've seen quite a few slabbed books at reasonable prices...I'm then put off the idea again as I don't want to go through the trauma of breaking a relatively inexpensive comic (in the whole scheme of things) out of its plastic coffin. It's starting to bug me out...you dig?

Forget about peanut hugging and get with the programme! I've never heard that term before. I'm going to use it all the time now. Yeah I'm around both days though Coolio, have you warned your bank manager about the spending spree you are bound to go on.

A load of us are going out for a meal on the Saturday night. Let me know what day and we'll meet up amongst the other weirdo's in the con. Can go and annoy Nick at his table or something.
