  1. According to todays newsletter, chuck has ended all codeword sales from here on out...meaning you do not have to -60%, he reduced according to him all prices across the board depending on how much he had in stock, and if it is a lower grade comic book...he did this to attract new buyers..who were probably weirded out by the high prices..make that mile high prices...well check out the new lower mile high prices ...in the meantime there is a photo of chuck with at least 500 comic book boxes around 300,000 comics that he needs to sort. The new mile high is here...what do think
  2. Dude...this is not ebay...I think you have the wrong site
  3. New newsletter, chuck selling 100,000 vegas comics for $1 dollar each...he got 10,000 silver age comics also from vegas..
  4. Latest newsletter gives new clues The small press colleciton 200,000 plus books was picked up in San Jose..chuck has a picture on the website... The las vegas collection, see photo of person waving looks like a friend of my Richie from Vegas ..anybody else see the resemblance? pictures say a 1000 words...
  5. That is 325,000 issues and he has been buying collections like crazy, showing off a van full of barks and ec librarys from a collection in ARZ ...it is right there on his newsletter, now he selling them....check out the "sale price"
  6. breaking news: On chucks newest newsletter today...he states first he is going to San Francisco to get 200,000 small press comics....WHO MIGHT THAT BE...... Then he states he is going to LAS VEGAS...with the truck to pick up 125,000 more from the former competitor and then off to Denver.... Who do you think is selling him 200,000 Small press comics for pennies on the dollar?? give his newsletter a read...
  7. if you read the newsletter, he said the store tried to compete which to me means a mail order business. He said the cost of "listing" drove them under...? who was this??? and why sell to chuck??? he had a big smile on his face.........
  8. clearly chuck who is going on a wild buying spree, just look at the newsletters, he just bought a 100,000 comic book collection from a former competitor as he claims in Las Vegas along with 10,000 graphic novels..anybody know who that was?? In the newsletter he claims they tried to duplicate the mile high business...and they failed and he stated the reasons why....now he buys then out for 10 cents on the dollar and sells it for mile high double retail...that is 20X what he paid . who was this?...anybody know
  9. Chuck just scored another big collection...he is going around the usa and buying collection after collection , check out the e-mail newsletters when you get to the site and just click... he wants more...and more...and even more....
  10. Strong prices considering the lack of quality material. Ha.com got a bit greedy with its 25% BP but they knew the material was going to come down both quality and quantity. The illustration dealers, like grapefruitmoon gallery, get the best and amazing stuff. Ha.com is getting the lower Elvgrens and other less desirable paintings. What amazes me is they get almost 2 million for what...300+ pieces ...not bad .
  11. Even with the added shipping charge, *if* the books arrive in stated condition, it's a decent price. Not a steal, but not highway robbery either. However, based on this transaction, I will not do business with them again. I tried them out and learned my lesson. Perhaps others can learn from my mistake, too. Icing on the cake update: Received my order today; instead of sending me the comic pictured on the site at the time of purchase (and priced accordingly), I now have the less valuable alternate cover. #neveragain I would email them and see if they will exchange out....
  12. People over the years have paid the mile high price over and over again...sometime he is the only game in town, and even if you wait for 60% off...you are still going to pay mile high for that book
  13. chucks goal, is to own every comic book in every grade in the world...and then raise the prices even more..go ahead and ban me.....buy low, sell MILE HIGH...well over the years there have been enough customers to do just that..his videos on youtube are classic...... But to ban a poster on this forum is just plain stupid.
  14. If you go to mile high comics and look at the latest newsletter and the one before...he just both out a competitors stock of over 100K comics and a bunch of trade paperbacks..he is on the hunt jacking collections and stores ..his newsletters says he going on a buying spree....might be a good guy to sell to?
