The very sallow gentleman in the lower right hand corner of the cover bears a striking resemblance to the similarly-complexioned fellow on the cover of HT12 (who was also attended to by the Torch). At least this guy still has the flesh on his arm - not sure how his face will bear up to Torch’s fist, though. His hair is already on fire.

Amazing bit of history. Frank R. Paul got $25 for the cover. It'd be interesting to see what the payment was for the first SubMariner to Everett. Interested what this will auction for now that it's a 9.2 not 9.0...

Wow. I wonder if that “Stick” fellow is the same guy who taught Daredevil all those killer moves?

The book has a pending offer. Boardie WASM’s offer has been accepted and my friend awaits payment. Thanks to all who helped in the PGM section.

Selling for my friend, an Air Force Purple Heart Veteran. Complete, unrestored, 1.8 -2.0 condition. A great entry-level copy, his wife is the original owner. It’s been in a box in their attic for 30 years or so. A 1.8 just sold on eBay for $780.
This copy $750 shipped to USA. Elsewhere, actual cost shipping. And per helpful guidelines from moderator:
No return unless book is not as described. It is low grade, complete, unrestored, not a reprint or imaginary story.
Paypal, Venmo, cashiers check, or cash is ok by me. My friend gets all the money, I am doing this as a favor to him and his wife. I don’t know anything about how to buy/sell using Bitcoin, Ethereum, NFTs or such entities, so won’t be able to accept them.

My buddy at work brought in a box of about 400 comics. He had told me they were mostly Archies, so I wasn’t expecting anything. He was right. They were mostly Archies. However, there was an Amazing Spider-Man 129 in the pile. That made it all worthwhile.
It has sat in their attic for at least 30 years. It is complete and unrestored. Both staples are attached at the centerfold. The top staple is attached from the front cover, but the book is tight. The other defects are obvious. There are no dates stamps or other markings. There are no stamps cut out or anything of that sort.
Please refer to attachments below.

Added cover artist to description, unrestored and unpressed
This is a simply beautiful cover with great graphics and spicy cover tag lines. Ed Noon, and the Bouncing Betty by Michael Avallone. “She was a beautiful mattress tester, and she bounced our private eye into a double bed of trouble“.
AKA Private Investigator Detective Magazine, vol. 1, no. 1. this was actually published before the paperback of the same name. Apparently Ed Noon was a Perry Mason type. Michael Avallone wrote a dozen books with this private investigator character. There is a Raymond Chandler bit, as well as 2 short stories within. Beautiful rare pulp.
Unrestored and unpressed VF “though I’m not a professional grader”. Look at the images and I think you’ll agree.
Front cover is a gorgeous blue-eyed blonde in privare eye Ed Noon’s office. Based on what’s inside the top of her strapless dress, it must be a cold office. They cover art is not signed, but it is exceptionally well done, and is by Freeman Eliot.
Back cover has a Boris Karloff photo.
Quite rare, David T Alexander has one in lower grade (VGminus) on eBay right now. That’s the only other one I’ve ever seen.
Appears to have been unread. I have included a photo of the spine, which is unblemished. Registration is perfect, but the spine logo is wrapped 1/8” to 1/4” onto the front cover. There is a very small bottom back cover corner piece out, 1/8” by 3/32”. There are 2 1/4” non-color-breaking creases at the front spine. There is a small 9/16” non-color-breaking indent lateral to the blonde’s hairdo. It could be pressed out easily. The rectangular shadow on front cover lower right is from my phone. There is no sun/dust shadow.
$300 - same as DTA’s listing but much better condition.
