  1. 52nd Edition Overstreet Price Guide will feature EC cover. Just ordered hardcover from my LCS.
  2. Operator 5 ring repro. I read all thirteen issues of the Purple Invasion. I give it a C+. Not great nor horrible.
  3. Here is a repro found in drawer. There is also an Operator 5 ring. Only a handful of original Spider rings have been found.
  4. Great looking tshirt! I want to order some, but was uncertain about the size. I usually wear a US large tshirt.
  5. Bangles 1980s - Walk like an Egyptian. I was already an old coot when the song came out.
  6. Just noticed the creature on the Avon Lurking Fear cover has Heterochromia (different color eyes, one blue and one brown), just as in Lovecraft’s short story. Very cool!

  11. One of the first five Marvel Silver Age comics that I read as a young boy. Nikita Khrushchev even makes a guest appearance. Early Marvels frequently featured subversive Russian spies as villains, including Natasha Romanova aka Black Widow. The other four were Avengers 2 (Space Phantom), Fantastic Four 8 (Puppet Master), Journey into Mystery 88 (2nd appearance of Loki), and Strange Tales 104 (Paste Pot Pete, before he became the Trapster).

  13. Since we are only allowed to put our top ten. I heard some board member without empathy was buying all the Tec 180s. Actually own more than ten.
  14. Got a copy of Superman 22 (right side third down) from the late Gary Arlington of the San Francisco Comic Book Company for $5 in 1971. Was in high school then, now a retired old coot.
