  1. I was looking up candy cigarettes that I smoked as a youth. I don’t own the boxes, but found them interesting.
  2. Even though there were Shadow And Doc Savage comics, they were really pulp heroes. Here are my pulp premiums, compliments of @Robot Man, plus a Cap badge from Adam Anderson.
  3. Looks like a nice show run by our own @shortboxed. Many big time dealers will be there. My homeboy @Primetime just told me about this upcoming show in my backyard. From Instagram feed.
  4. 2015 Hallmark sound and motion ornament. Move the crank on the right side and the Disney characters move around.
  5. 1993 Vampirella statue based on Jose Gonzalez painting. Supposed to be an edition of 750, but Bob Chapman of Graphitti Designs said that they had problems with production of statue, especially the bat. Bob produces the official tshirt for SDCC. Newer statue from Dynamite.
  6. Won from Heritage years ago. Nobody else bid. But not signed by Spoon Sprang. Still covered by plastic.
  7. Reminded me of the Miller Lite commercial. 😂
  8. These posters have been reprinted and you can hang them up without fear.
  9. Mike Royer inked the classic Mister Miracle 6 featuring Funky Flashman and House Roy.
  10. If you are trying to obtain a badge in advance via their early sale, odds are one in 16 or a 6% chance, which is pretty tough. Even the parking must be purchased in advance. Hotel room rates get doubled or tripled during that week. Last attended in 2019, and spent over $2k just on the hotel room and tickets that I got through a vendor friend. My friend asked me whether I wanted to attend this year and I could crash in his room. I replied No Thanks! I had attended for 25 straight years.
  11. PS Artbooks is producing a facsimile edition of Suspense 3 coming out late next April. I visit my LCS at least once a week to heard the latest comic news. I have some of their Phantom Lady copies and a complete set of original Phantom Lady comics. The copies are on slicker paper and an obvious copy.
  12. Found some fan produced Doc Savage stories with slipcase.
  13. Found the original cover art for “Odds Against Linda” on the web.
  14. Recreation from Blazing Combat story “Give and Take” GI Combat OA with appearance of my favorite armored fighting vehicle, Sturmtiger with a 380 mm rocket launched mortar.
  15. Saw this recreation at SDCC and could not get my money out fast enough. Not GA.
  16. I put AA batteries in mine, but made sure the batteries could not move around. The price dropped to $94.99 on GameStop. The shooting mechanism is okay, but not great for safety reasons. I thought I was getting this. There are four 40mm grenade launchers on the table.
  17. Went to the local toy shop today. 1st Cobra Commander with straight arms, but sadly, not Mickey Mouse Cobra emblem. Mail in Cobra Commander unopened in original bag.
  18. XM Studios Batman Batcave diorama 1/30 Four foot diorama with photos by Ang Seng. Don’t believe this is out yet.
  19. Just saw the Terrifier 2 movie out for Halloween, not for the squeamish. You can’t kill Art the Clown. Reminded me of this book cover.
  20. Don’t know which Doug, but here is Heritage info.
  21. Still fondly remember John at NYCC, SDCC, and Wizard Chicago. My aunt used to live within walking distance of John’s shop on Main Street in Alhambra, CA. Would park my car near my Aunt’s apartment house and stroll over. John will tell these funny and amazing stories of bringing comic books to Jerry Buss, yeah that Jerry Buss, late owner of the Lakers at the Playboy Mansion. My last purchase from John was Action 252, first Supergirl. I remember him as a busy super nice guy.
  22. Love Syril Karn’s mother. Reminds me of my mother telling me what a lousy son I am.
  23. Dated a woman named Sabrina, who dressed as a witch for Halloween. People described her with a word that rhymes with witch.
  24. Not my copy, but do have one stashed away. Here is the first appearance of the Good Witch Wendy.
