If you are trying to obtain a badge in advance via their early sale, odds are one in 16 or a 6% chance, which is pretty tough. Even the parking must be purchased in advance. Hotel room rates get doubled or tripled during that week. Last attended in 2019, and spent over $2k just on the hotel room and tickets that I got through a vendor friend. My friend asked me whether I wanted to attend this year and I could crash in his room. I replied No Thanks! I had attended for 25 straight years.

PS Artbooks is producing a facsimile edition of Suspense 3 coming out late next April. I visit my LCS at least once a week to heard the latest comic news. I have some of their Phantom Lady copies and a complete set of original Phantom Lady comics. The copies are on slicker paper and an obvious copy.

This Week In Your Plastic Crack, Action Figures and Toy Collection
BitterOldMan replied to Buzzetta's topic in Comics General
I put AA batteries in mine, but made sure the batteries could not move around. The price dropped to $94.99 on GameStop. The shooting mechanism is okay, but not great for safety reasons. I thought I was getting this. There are four 40mm grenade launchers on the table. -

Comicmylars vs the late, great John Verzyl
BitterOldMan replied to MikeRN's topic in Golden Age Comic Books
Still fondly remember John at NYCC, SDCC, and Wizard Chicago. My aunt used to live within walking distance of John’s shop on Main Street in Alhambra, CA. Would park my car near my Aunt’s apartment house and stroll over. John will tell these funny and amazing stories of bringing comic books to Jerry Buss, yeah that Jerry Buss, late owner of the Lakers at the Playboy Mansion. My last purchase from John was Action 252, first Supergirl. I remember him as a busy super nice guy. -
