  1. In the long history of Godzilla movies, some were epic, many mediocre, and some truly horrible. During the 1971 Godzilla vs Hedorah ( Smog Monster), Godzilla flew for the first and only time. I have been looking for a flying Godzilla and finally found one from 2003. Now I am looking for the flying kick Godzilla from Godzilla vs Megalon. My close friend told me that the only taste I had was in my mouth, and even that was bad.🤢
  2. Barks also drew “Riddle of the Red Hat” and Barney Bear. Saw in recent Previews, a nice compilation of OA for Barney Bear, Benny the Burro, and Droopy.
  3. The first comic reminded me of I tried to get some boardies to eat this but,
  4. At 2017 OAF Con, I met Spoon Sprang’s agent for the second time and bought Spoon’s nice copy of Tec 185.
  5. I would grade it as near mint with minor imperfections. 💰CGC it!
  6. Back in November 1963, my step grandfather was on his deathbed. Believe it or not, I was a young boy back then. To keep me out of trouble, I was given some of my Uncle’s old comics, including Avengers 2. Here is my copy with my ugly initials. Really love this book. Have 8.0, but this copy is more valuable, even with the horrible Paul Reinman inks over Kirby pencils. I was so sad when the Hulk left the Avengers.☹️
  7. Meeting cool collectors like @Robot Man! Finding my grail Doc Savage pin from Robot Man!
  8. Captain America clone only featured in seven issues.
  9. Unfortunately, I don’t have any copies of Blazing Comics 1-5 featuring the Green Turtle, who was the first Asian hero, fighting the Japanese in occupied China.
  10. Alan Moore’s League of Extraordinary Gentlemen 1st Series, which had so many inside British jokes, that I did not understand the first time I read it.
  11. Bought my first FC 238 in the seventies, won this in 2018 auction. Love the bright yellow.
  12. Kayo Books had the book on their Instagram feed. The owner gave me the book free of charge after finding loose pages. The owners, Maria Mendoza and Rob Blum, are super nice and have an oddball esoteric selection of books for sale. They are open by appointment.
  13. Brian, If you have an iPhone, take a picture. Highlight the text, and choose translate. Learned this from a long time friend, who graduated from Harvard and drives around in a Lamborghini.
  14. A couple years ago, I was looking for a low grade copy of Superman 11. At Wizard Chicago, a real gentleman and his wonderful wife had a reader copy that fit my budget. I was hosting my friend’s kids, so I passed so I could show the kids around. After I walked through the entire show, I came back and the Superman 11 was gone. The kind gentleman was @catrick339! I snoozed and I lost. ☹️ Finally, I got a copy of Superman 11 from Terry O at several times the price of the Wizard Chicago copy.
  15. When @Primetime and I left, we paid the stiff parking fee and tipped the two valet guys $20 each. Live fast!
  16. That’s great! I can get the photo slabbed as a yellow label instead of a PLOD.😂
  17. Managed to secure a rare photo op with the living legend, Bon vivant, debonair, suave, erudite @greggy
