  1. Very disturbing but brilliant I thought. I didn't like the direction it headed after the first issue though.
  2. I've got some raw Bedlam variants that are 9.8 but I can't sell them
  3. This is a must for anyone interested in Undergrounds, an excellent history of the medium chock full of images ( including plenty of rare stuff). It will broaden any new fan's scope of interest. Awesome thank you
  4. Does anyone have a fogels price guide for sale? I know they're on eBay etc and I could post on the WTB thread but I thought I'd ask you guys here first. Bear in mind it will have to be posted to Australia. I don't care what the condition is, I just want to read it. Thanks !
  5. COMIX reprint guide Use the A-Z "keypad" on that page to find the books you are looking for. As far as the page not being updated, most of the information there is still accurate other than recent discoveries made by collectors like 50 Cent here, who has done a lot of great research on undergrounds. I didn't see the keypad! That's exactly what I was looking for as far as recognising 1st prints. eBay sellers sell a lot of "first prints" that aren't .
  6. UG comix mentions that they have a reprint guide but I can't find it! All there is on the page are outdated links and outdated eBay sales. I don't think the site has been updated since 2007..
  7. I'm new to underground comic collecting and I was wondering if you good folks could point me in the direction of some good underground websites and places where to pick up some books. I'm currently trying to get a run of Zaps and other Crumb stuff but I want to broaden out more and a bit more knowledge would be great! It's tough to find information on underground stuff and not many people make it their focus but I love the historical and rebellious attitude of the books... Thanks
  8. No one's talking about the show on this thread... I couldn't give a fat rats what the books are selling for.
  9. They've been around a lot longer than you and have seen ridiculous threads pumping up bad books just for the sake of it many, many times. Pre Heat? What a pointless thread... The modern forum used to be interesting once. Go home Grandpa, your drunk. Get of my lawn you young punk

  11. +1 This book is awesome. I'm a fan of Li'l depressed boy too.
  12. Well there's 7 billion people in the world so relatively thats 1 copy for every 8,974,358 people.... but they have to want one of course.
  13. I know a few non comic book people that aren't into "superhero movies" that loved GOTG. It was different and fresh and didn't take itself to seriously.
  14. Not sure if anyone's seen this. Looking like speculators will jump on the Comic books. About time the character got the credit he deserves...
  15. Rewatch the show! Whenever the new seasons of House of Cards comes out, my wife and I rematch the season slowly for about a month leading up to it. Have that many people never binge watched a show? There seems to be a lot of confusion with it. I haven't had cable for years so my wife and I have been binge watching shows for the last 7 or 8 years, I guess. I always binge watch. I watched 5 seasons of breaking bad in about 4 weeks. It gives the series a lot more flow that way I think. I'm sure there's heaps of people who watch shows that way...
  16. I will consider Agent Carter as a waste of time if you compare it to DD Yeah. There's nothing really to compare to DD. Agent carter I thought was better than Agents of Shield at least. Gotham is a great show. DD is a lot darker and has a completely different feel though
  17. Given that there at least four more series to come from Netflix/Marvel - probably five, as I can't see the success of this one not earning a second season - it makes perfect sense to drop foreshadowing all over the place. Throwing everything including the kitchen sink into the first 13 episodes of a long-term commitment and bringing it to a neat conclusion would be fairly dumb. (thumbs u There needs to be unanswered questions to hold everyone's interest.
  18. I'd like to slam on the brakes but I don't have the will power
  19. That Bendis Daredevil run was what got me back into comic books after 15 years out of it. I had my fingers crossed that this show would reflect that as much as possible and thankfully they have done a great job...
  20. I couldn't help but think that Mickey Rourke would have been a perfect fit for Battlin' Jack Murdoch.
  21. not sure I'd call The Flash's plot ridiculous....having a great time watching that one. Like a goo dripping into a kids eyes and giving him extra sensory powers isn't ridiculous. Yeah they're both ridiculous but I'm sure you know what I'm getting at. Never said I didn't like the Flash either but it's a more fun show to watch and it's aimed at a younger audience.
  22. A well made TV show. I can probably describe it like this; Something like "The Flash" is like an extended movie made for teenagers with a ridiculous plot whereas DD is more set on character development and is definitely made for adults and has more realistic plots and fight scenes. Only 2 episodes in but Marvel has done a great job with DD
