  1. I don't know...Geoff Johns was an EP for the GL movie as well and that was a massive stinker. If he couldn't stop them from casting Peter Sarsgaard and turning Parallax into a "Galactus Cloud", I'm not sure how much help he's going to be on this project. Executive Producer means absolutely nothing, it's likely they showed him the -script at some point and he liked it... but it still makes you wonder if they are talking to him to make sure it feels right, plus he had some of the best superhero episode on TV and i also thinking WB is moving away from Nolan name. I very much doubt that. They have a great ongoing relationship where Nolan does a studio film and in return the give him a blank check for a passion project. After Interstellar (passion project), he'll be doing a studio film. Although Nolan wanted to move away from Batman and has went on record saying he isn't looking to get tied down with another superhero franchise, I don't think WB will let one of the finest directors working today walk away from the studio. At least, I'd hope not.
  2. yep Oh dear. Why "oh dear" ? Everything of positive significance in Goyer's filmography has come with the involvement of Nolan or someone else. His only solo endeavor, if I'm not mistaken was Blade Trinity, which was one of the worst movies I've ever seen. It would have been cause for concern if he alone was responsible for writing the -script of what is possibly one of the most important films in DC's cinematic history.

  4. nope he did the screen play for it but the -script is written by Chris Terrio This. Goyer wrote a general outline before Affleck was cast. As soon as Affleck's deal was finalized at Warner he brought over Chris Terrio to do re-writes on the -script. Goyer is not going to get his hands on this one ( ).
  5. What are you guys watching on Wednesday nights now that this show is taking its summer vacation?
  6. I didn't catch that. Dawn of Justice short for Dawn of the Justice League. Now I like it. (thumbs u It demonstrates commitment from everyone on board at WB/DC and I like that clear signal that the League is imminent. , Yeah, that makes it a whole lot better, didn't get it at first Sorry. When you asked me 'What's in a title' earlier, that's what I was explaining. It looks like they did a play on words to call out Justice League is coming. Yep, completely missed that one, I'm beginning to think that you are not really Kal-El

  9. DAWN OF JUSTICE?? Why could they not just go with World's Finest, and let it lead into the Justice League? No reason to play with a title to hint another movie is coming behind this one. ....not a fan but what's in a name?
  10. As the premiere date draws closer and more critics submit their reviews the score has actually gone up which is unusual because the scores tend to go down as the premiere gets closer. Another good sign hopefully , I’m very excited for this one.
  11. +1, I haven't revisited the film in years and don't plan to anytime soon but it's definitely the best, even if by default.
  12. Also, I've been meaning to ask, for the Archie-faithfuls, how's it been seeing the Archieverse turned upside down?
  13. A little over cover if you look .. Not much at all Thanks, that's good to hear (thumbs u I think eventually that will change don't wait to long. I'm hoping with the press the death of Archie gets, some newer people might be exposed to Afterlife and start looking for back issues. I'd like to get 9.8's across the board regardless of where the price goes. I'm absolutely mesmerized by the art and the story is amazing as well. It's definitely a keeper in my book.

  15. How much is a #1 regular cover going for these days? Its not crazy, is it? I'd like to get one eventually.
  16. Jesse Eisenberg Talks Lex Luthor Role IGN Movies: I know you can't say much, but I have to ask about Lex Luthor. How much of a game changer will your Lex Luthor be from the incarnations we've seen of this character in the past? Jesse Eisenberg: It'll definitely be played by a different person, but I don't know really how different this -- I don't know the history as well as the people making the movie, so I guess it's up to them to figure out how much they want to separate it from previous incarnations. But I will treat it like it's its own role. There's no way to play the history of the character played by other people, unless you do some kind of wink, but that doesn't seem like a responsible way to act. So I will just do it as though it's a character, in the same way you do a movie like The Double, which is a smaller movie -- but you just kind of treat it like a character, and that's probably the best course of action, I think.
  17. ... so for someone like me who has never had an interest in the Archie series and feels he cannot really invest the time to get up to speed where does it stand on its own? I had never once read an issue of Archie prior to reading Afterlife With Archie #1 and I'm absolutely in love with it. It's number 3 on my list right after Saga and TWD and right before EOW but personally, I would put the art of AWA above anything else out there. You should pick up issue #1 because I don't think you'll be disappointed.
  18. I love the evolution of this series. I can't wait to see where they go from here.
  19. Sorry, bit of a noob question but how would I go about finding out if the modern title I'm interested in even has OA available?
