Bought a sharp John Carter Annual from Ed. Nice, smooth transaction. Thanks!
  2. I posted some of these a couple years ago, but I've made a lot of progress on the runs since then.
  3. I had forgotten how many nice covers there were in the series.
  4. Just back from CGC. Thanks to Greggy for the Marvel Tales and the Marvel's Greatest Comics. The Millie was a wing and a prayer from eBay. It will serve as a placeholder in my PF box and a reminder that it's stupid to spend grading fees on wings and prayers.
  5. A bunch of killer books there, Bill. I love the Gil Kane covers.
  6. Frank is a buyer extraordinaire, a virtuoso of comic book collecting, a paragon of reliability, the quintessence of geniality, and swell guy all around.
  7. If you do a Google image search for the perfect comic buyer, you'll see photos of some scenes from The Big Bang Theory, that guy with the beard from Comic Book Men, and a CGC 8.5 Action #1. I'm shocked there aren't any pictures of Greg. I think Google might be broken.
  8. Great buyer, nice guy, solid communication. Wes is as good as it gets.
  9. Just completed another sale to Randall. And as per usual, it couldn't have gone any smoother. Thanks again!
  10. On a scale from 1 to 10, describing Robert as a buyer is like trying to keep Magneto, Hannibal Lecter, or the character that Samuel Jackson played at the end of Out Of Sight in prison. No mere numerical system can possibly contain his awesomeness. Maybe I shouldn't use super-villains to describe Robert's virtues, but hopefully you'll get the point anyhow.
  11. I was scanning some books and came across these. I forgot Kane worked on the title.
  12. Not only is Randall is reliable buyer and super-nice guy, he can tell you Ron Kittle's slugging percentage in 1982 and he has a Harold Baines shrine hidden somewhere in his home. Thanks, Randall!
  13. I'm always looking for an excuse to post these again.
  14. Very highly recommended buyer. Scott just bought a couple Star Wars books from me and he paid quickly, communicated well, and is a true gentleman. Thanks, Scott!
  15. Very dependable buyer. Pays quickly, communicates well, and rescues kittens from trees in his spare time. Thanks, Matt!
  16. Just had another nice, easy transaction with Mike. Very dependable buyer. Pays quickly and communicates promptly. Thanks, Mike!
  17. I've been looking for a nice copy of this book for awhile. Just came in today's mail.
  18. Really nice books, JC. This thread has had a bit of a renaissance lately. It's great to see these books.
  19. Great books, quillandtankard and MR-SigS!
  20. I am pretty sure I have one or two in the 9.X range, but I still don't understand how that latest copy only graded a 9.0 - back cover issues? The back cover is pretty solid. I think what keeps it from a higher grade is a tiny crease on the lower right corner. I can't argue with the grade too much. I had it at 9.0/9.2 but I was hoping for some blurry vision and/or lenience in the CGC grading room.
