This is a shrug situation... When I was raising money for the house I sold things off like an Avengers 8 in a 8.0 for $500? and extra raw copies of ASM 300 and 252. I sold graded Star Wars figures... all of which have gone up considerably... but... I used that money to increase the down payment and other things like hiring electrician and things like that. I think it is what you do with the money that matters and not if you sold too early. For instance, I drove a 2001 Mustang until 2018. Now, that car sat in the driveway while I took a train to the city so it did not fall apart over the course of those 18 years but in 2012 when I thought about buying a new car, I realized that I was better off buying a copy of AF15. The car continued to sit in the driveway as I would head to the train station to get to work and it all worked out in the end. It's about what you do with the money or what the money is being used for. If you sold the books to pay for your kid's education then you cannot put a price tag on that. Your kid needed to go to college at that point and was not going to wait until the books were "worth it." If you sold the books to buy a house, then you are really trading equity for equity. How much did the house increase in value? However... if you sold the books and blew it on nonsense... yeah... you should have some 'regerts"

Was he bounced in July and just gave up? Or is he reinventing himself to DAS/RH 3.0 ?

I think they would recognize it as the file copy but they would also regrade it.

The individual in question has not been seen since last July when people were complaining about his attitude in another collector's thread and he also created a separate thread attacking CGC Graders.

So uhhhh.... As long as we are sorting through the 'locked threads' to take this walk down memory lane, I was thinking... You could always unleash the Kracken and restore some of the poofed ones. I mean lock em... but un poof... just for the giggles.

I absolutely agree with @Comics4Alland @fantastic_four... I was watching this just to watch and keep up with things... I watch very little tv as it is so this was my dose of MCU.... This episode was my “LOST” episode. This was what I was waiting for... where we see what we have already seen but from the perspective of “someone else on the island.” k... now I’m into it. One more thing... what’s the licensing fee to stream Hendrix? I’m guessing the Beach Boys were cheap... Hendrix estate... not so much...

I am taking home a few things for eBay fodder... but... I jumped on the Turtles Train and bought my second Turtles book to "hopefully" make it to Sarasota for a signing. I don't know if it will be shipped to me and then on to CGC in time for the 2/15 deadline. At worst, I am sure there will be another signing at some point in the future.

If you have an eBay store is there a way to set up an auction from the onset? What am I missing here? It has been a long time. Right now, if I want to set something up as an auction I have to list it as a BIN and then convert it to an auction. I know that there is a simpler way but I cannot seem to find it from the create a listing menu.

This one is also on it's way to me for $32 shipped. This was the tougher to find version with the retooled cockpit. I think it was a Walmart exclusive. The original Kenner design along with the SKiff are some of the only Star Wars toys that are still in production aside from a few minor tweaks (like paint deco and maybe a slight retooling like the console on the A-Wing and the alternate railing on the skiff). Is there anything else out there? The Falcon, AT-AT, AT-ST, Slave 1, and X-Wing were basically retired for their 2nd Generation counterparts around 15 years ago. The Tie Fighter and Interceptor 'could' be considered but they have had a retooling with the cockpits and have received newer and more movie accurate and larger sized wings.

There is a Lego shortage all around. The set was originally announced around the time of Toy Fair 2020 before the world shut down and it immediately went up for preorder. With the pandemic and stay at home orders, Lego has done quite well for itself as there is something substantially appealing about 'building' something rather than playing a video game and things like that. When I ordered the Tree House it was not only backordered but my order was sourced from Europe as it had labels affixed to the European boxes so they could be sold and distributed in America. Even around Christmas time I saw European boxes with the white American labels on them at Target. It's not just this on backorder... it is a lot of things. Again though, I urge people to be patient, wait for an Amazon sale (not likely on this set) or wait for Lego double points or cool incentives when you exceed certain price tiers on your orders.

I do not have any personal experience but after you tagging me in this I finally decided to check it out. I was going to consider the light kit for the Ford Mustang and decided to check out the installation guide. For the price they are asking and with the company themselves adding the disclaimer that the components are easily damaged I am hesitant. All done... it's hard to tell in the pic but the plastic is smooth to the touch instead of 'gritty' and 'rough' in patches. The canopy is a bit more clear. The accents on the mold are sharper. The thing must have been dusty and never cleaned or it got wet and then caked on. It 'feels' cleaner. These things are far easier to take apart than put together. I will tell you that.

It’s the 1997 POTF2 A-Wing so aside from the removal of the electronics it’s a direct mold of the original from the 1983-1984 Star Wars droids line. This was... dirty though... it had pieces of hair attached to it and it had a dirty and grimy feel to it. It was more the feel than the look as the ship is painted to be weathered. So I removed the metal screws and took the ship apart letting it soak in a tub of warm water and dish soap. Eventually I will rinse and wipe it down to dry and hopefully remove the grime. Once done I will put it all together again.

For $20 shipped? why not... However... you know when we ask the question, "Does it really mean anything to say, pet free, smoke free, air conditioned home?" Yes... yes it does... This can soak for a good hour or two.
