  1. Someone just bought a Funko Pop for $240 They have 83% feedback due to 5 positives and 1 negative total... I have $15 into the Funko pop so... let's roll the dice I guess but I will eat signature confirmation and insurance on this.
  2. Well there goes my 5% off that I was hoping to get back on buying that villa in Lake Como next to George and Amal.
  3. I’m waiting on parts to arrive but I mapped out the idea of what I want to do a little further. (For those interested) the orange flats may come out and I may raise the hull by one plate to give it more depth. I really want the parts. I am deviating from the one that storm shadow linked to in another way. I ordered large LEGO motorcycle rims to serve as fans and will hopefully fit the mid size helicopter blades in the spikes to simulate spinning. Originally I was going to build a gear mechanism to make the blades spin at a push of a button but that may not work with the rims. As of now I am sticking to the turret design but might offset the entire area by using the jumper bricks. The blue bases are on rotating turntables and I ordered half level cylinders like they use for rocket tanks on the A Wing Fighter. Each LEGO joe can sit in the opening. the only thing I can work on now but cannot come up with a combination to my liking is the rocket pods. have I mentioned I want my parts ?
  4. You know... I have to admit. Solo actually got better with a repeated viewing. I was initially wrong. I never said I didn't like it, but upon it's release, I think I said something like it was 'ok'. After seeing Rebels and now the last few episodes of Clone Wars, I have to admit that it is a fun movie. It's no Rogue One, which I adored, but Solo got a little better with age.
  5. I hope you can work it out. TLJ > TFA Enjoy your breakfast.
  6. There are people to talk to about this you know.
  7. @Bosco685 Just in case you didn't catch this btw
  8. - Right, everyone else is taking it too seriously. This, is coming from a guy that if you mention anything to do with Star Wars has to bring up his hatred of a movie and the director for making it. So, no, I cannot relate and I cannot imagine that something like that qualifies someone to be "hated." Hence, my comment regarding your outlook on so many things stand.
  9. Never really appreciated Hot Shots... Now Spaceballs? Mel Brooks is a genius and a national treasure.
  10. They once had a Snapchat filter that could multiply your face when you raised an eyebrow... All the faces alternated in color and were in sync like a checkerboard. I may have posted a video of me lip syncing to this song raising the eyebrow and duplicating myself whenever the chorus came on. I love this song.
  11. You might drop your jaw... you might be repulsed. Let us know what happens.
  12. Google if you must but there is a LOT of accidental nudity of people taking pics of objects that reflect the picture taker. The woman with the yellow dress and the guy with the tea kettle come to mind
  13. You seem obsessed Again, I happen to like TLJ... I also think that ROTS is the strongest of the prequels and is actually quite enjoyable. Your obsession with the concept of Mary Sue's, constant ranting and raving about your hatred of fictional characters, attacking of those that disagree with your opinion on a Star Wars movie, and other comments in this particular thread have become what could be considered borderline obsession and something to which you might seriously want to look into and figure out why a Star Wars movie seems to frustrate you so.
  14. Yes. Scenario 1 - Sometimes if the seller is in arrears with eBay, had the listing pulled, was selling something suspicious, or faced any disciplinary action from eBay their listing might be hidden. Perfect example is when I buy bootleg Lego figures from the Chinese vendors. Those figures are clearly a violation of Lego intellectual property along with a mess of IP problems. Every now and then Lego is able to get eBay to shut a listing down. So, in the past, I found out that I could not leave feedback for the item even though I had received it and had a perfect transaction because eBay removed the transaction. Scenario 2 - You are not looking hard enough. Look in previous purchases or follow it from feedback you have left. If it is not there then eBay pulled the listing altogether.
  15. I don't know what this is about. I do know that my disappointment before bed stems from the fact that www.story-train.com does not work
  16. It's on eBay for $5 if anyone wants one. I just looked it up. All of that bad girl stuff from the 90's was trashed at the time. You cannot give that stuff away and expect them to give it to kids. I spoke to the comics shop the next time and he gave me a few boxes of things that were more kid friendly.
  17. I was once the facilitator of both giving and receiving a donation of comics. Many of them are unsuitable and many were passed along to Staten Island and New Jersey. (NY'rs will get that.) There was no way anyone was handing out Areala, Warrior Nun to kids in a hospital. But hey, that's what was donated... The libraries do not want it. The YMCA does not want it, Youth Groups do not want it. In fact I can tell you that due to the suggestive content in many books that many of these organizations do not want to deal with potential liability or social repercussions or any bad press.
  18. @lighthouse What is your contract like with those behind FCBD? Can you bundle them with a funko pop and other back issues and maybe other non-sellers around the store to do $10 blind bags / boxes?
