  1. Uh oh... this is gonna get me in trouble... Before my time... Best television cop? Detective Lenny Briscoe...
  2. Just for Hector... @jsilverjanet "Hector wanted to know..." "Who's Hector?" "Don't worry about it." "Andrew do not spend money!" (I don't even wanna know how the two are related.) Hector wanted to know... Who's Hector? Don't worry about it.
  3. I wanted to run an experiment as people seem to be buying Lego. I listed a Star Wars Lego set in a trashed box. It was basically falling apart. Mint boxes go for $90-$125... the last two sales before mine were $104 and $105 in brand new boxes. There were a bunch of others listed higher than that though. I sold it last week for $120 + Shipping and the buyer never paid. Filed the case and got the fees back. I relisted it at $135 + shipping just to see what would happen. By the end of the day it sold. Another one sold later that day for $150 shipped which worked out to be cheaper because it's a larger set so shipping is around $20. People are still spending money... just maybe not on comics right now.
  4. I have many demons... The death of my parents at the hands of that mugger so many years ago...... wait... that's not it... When I had the chance to stop that robber but I didn't think it was my responsibility and then by coincidence he robbed my house and shot my... nah that's not it... Whenever I get angry I ... wait... I think I just hurt my back and my neck was bothering me so much I couldn't sleep.
  5. I believe Daisies... my dad and her are together all day around the clock with what’s going on. She might kill him. You might have a chance. cant sleep 😴
  6. That is not paperwork that @kav highlighted but a stack of USPS bubble mailers.
  7. Not really... or not really by choice. I find it difficult to find shoes that are comfortable so when I do find a pair of sneakers or shoes that fit and are comfortable I buy several pair... or I buy a few pairs of sneakers at once and then will not buy anything for a couple of years. The joke about the shoes comes from a comment about selling ANYTHING over ebay... even an old pair of ratty worn out shoes. So I wanted to test that theory. I am not kidding and I have published proof.... there is a market for worn out trashed sneakers, shoes and sandals. So instead of throwing them out I put them online and people buy them. I don't want to know what they do with them... but hey... their money is green.
  8. I only have two... and as I've been told they are about the biggest pair anyone has ever seen... One is called "know your role." The other one is called "shut your mouth."
  9. My request for a badge to NYCC was submitted. Whether or not I choose to go is another story. Each year I kind of shrug more and more and if I did not get the pass I did I think I would skip the show at this point to be honest. I am mostly looking for things that are not easy to find and that I feel I can do better online. I also don't like being in an environment that sort of makes you feel as if you should buy something just to say you did. I discussed this with another board member who I usually go to the show with each year and we both agreed that if we did not get Pro badges, it is unlikely we would pay full price. On top of that... coronavirus... I don't know if I want to be in an environment where I have already experienced a group of people that do not always have the social grace to cover their mouth when they cough or sneeze. Sorry but I am being honest.
  10. Ok... I have about 12 x 25 gallon rubbermaid bins of Lego... this is what I currently have out. This setup that you are interested in started out with the release of the Modular Hotel in 2007. Since then Lego comes out with a modular house steered toward adults... I buy each one.. and the city grows by a new building every year. Then I throw in all the Superheros and other characters to mix it up on the roof tops while the train can circle around. There are other Lego sets around the house. The Lego Mustang, Death Star, and a couple of other things are in the office. The Space Shuttle is in the guest bedroom alcove thing in the basement... things like that. But this is what is out in the basement. Some of the lego superheroes like the Fantastic Four are customs I bought off eBay. To be honest... if I had to choose between comics and legos it would be tough. Legos are far more relaxing than comics.
  11. I missed this one... sorry. No... When I am seriously annoyed and it does happen, I know I can sound like a background character is a B level straight to DVD mob movie... But... just as a bonus... I am a little raspy... When you are home by yourself, every night is walk through the house karaoke night...
  12. Beyond outside my wheelhouse Except for a few foreign variants of ASM 252 and a few 35 cent price variants of ASM issues, I do not have or really know anything about that area of collecting. At this point I feel I have upgraded my ASM 1-100 set as much as I really ever want to. Lately I just buy GA, OA and stuff that I can flip. I won five books in the last CLink auction (so far)... As of now I am only keeping 1 of them.
  13. Not at all... I can do that in small doses. However, I am not a fan of just sitting in front of the TV so it would have to be something a bit ... more... than the stooges... Stooges? Maybe a half hour.
  14. Just made a sale and am dropping off a rather large LEGO set at Fed Ex Walgreens - woohoo Keep the questions coming - I will be on my couch after this
  15. Yes actually and it tears the bread up... but when you buy the wrong peanut butter what are you gonna do?
  16. I don't know what you would call it... Keep in mind that there was a lot of cheating going on here like the Rice a Roni kit and the bottled szechuan sauce So... Set up the cilantro rice mixture I sliced the Flat Iron steak into thin strips before cooking. Olive oil 'in' Minced garlic in until it's browned steak strips in flip over. onions and pepper strips in Pepper and chili spices pour in some of the bottled szechuan sauce toss and flip serve in the bowl alongside the rice and dust with coconut and scallion. The thing in the foil was a sweet potato that I had made earlier and just warmed up.
  17. Once that photo uploaded I saw it and realized I forgot to take out scallions and olive oil.
  18. Will accommodate all of these - but first...’ let’s make dinner. @Comicshows And btw... Amazon Fresh has been a godsend. I might put this in a wrap... maybe so or maybe not
  19. I assume he meant 'it' as in the overall big picture of existence of being. "It" as in "It is what it is." That's what I WANT to believe. That's what I pray it is. Because if it is is anything else then I shudder.
  20. That's awesome... these are the things that money cannot buy and can never be replaced.
  21. Don't act surprised. I have occasionally shared some of the messages I have received with you.
