  1. @Gotham Kid - out of curiosity... top of the book... is that the printing alignment or does that look trimmed. Going to play my hand now... for awhile I was looking for a Tec 37. I would have bought this book... but I usually don't see them with the top of the circle missing. I have seen the tips of the bat ears cut off but not to the extent that I see here. On a side note, unless the book was heavily restored, I do not see it on Heritage.
  2. Now it's off the image hosting site and officially part of the board record.
  3. PM all parties involved and let me know. Say hi to Danny for me.
  4. Why? I have no problem liking ancient posts. Makes it more fun when the the original poster who is still active today sees, "Buzzetta reacted to a post in ... " Then they are taken back in time ten - fifteen years.
  5. - I don't jump on bandwagons or derail something as great or putrid based upon what anyone else says or popular opinion. When it comes to DC movies: I loved Man of Steel and Aquaman I thought Wonder Woman was... ok (Felt too much like Captain America First Avenger for me) Upon a second viewing, I thought Justice League was tolerable I still shake my head at Suicide Squad and BvsS... BvS especially. I still have to see Shazam
  6. This is an insight to board history. This should be celebrated.
  7. Cannot decide if that's supposed to be 70's Stan Lee or if Roy Scheider is back from the dead.
  8. Part of me thinks that the predictable ending / after credits scene or whatever it is would actually hurt it in my eyes... unless it is played out the right way... no hokiness
  9. I am very much looking forward to this film. I do not need it to be a 'superhero' movie. I need it to be a film.
  10. Had to go back in the listings to my comiclink bid history... The first time I ever participated in a Comiclink Auction was in the February 2011 auction. I was determined to take a copy of Daredevil 1 home which I still own. The book is not for sale so don't bother contacting me to see if it is. Seriously... I am posting this as part of the walk back in time when things like this were pretty much last obtainable. In that auction I bid on a Daredevil 1 in 6.5, Daredevil 1 in 6.0 and a Fantastic Four 48 in a 8.5. I am posting the image of the book I won and what I bid on and lost that day... If I could turn back time, I definitely would have increased my bids. To put it into context this was four months after I had bought a copy of AF15 at NYCC from Gator for a few thousand so I was not used to dropping money like this on old newsprint within a twelve month period. I think we can all say, looking back, if only I had opened the wallet up a bit more. As a side note I believe I bid more strongly on the 6.0 because while the 6.0 had CROW pages it still looked nicer than the 6.5.
  11. Actually... I hope Gabe is okay.
  12. Oh please... I laugh at almost all of it. I know the difference between busting balls and picking on.
  13. I didn't know I had it either until I've been staring at the ceiling for the last week until the sun comes up.
  14. It's 2am... I just listed 20 items on eBay because I cannot sleep. The LIRR sucks... My insomnia is kicking into high gear... Couple of decisions I have to make. On a side note... anyone else see the irony in putting "Crime Does Not Pay" in the title of the listing?
  15. No online wife. The whole 'online' thing was never for me. Ask away.
  16. Thanks @greggy I already have a 6.5 Blue label but... you never know... PM SENT !
  17. the best thing about eBay was that all of a sudden a nation of comic collectors realized that we were lied to or misguided and nothing was really as rare and scarce as we were led to believe.
  18. Car wasn't stolen. It might have been made up. I forget.
  19. I am planning to retire in 3,960 days. I will consider that moving forward.
  20. Turned out to a lie though wasn't it... He put fake rims on a car he didn't own?
