  1. Only things I really buy through Heritage are original art. If that is the only venue to obtain a certain piece I have to bite the bullet. However, keep in mind that i also have to pay a sales tax on the item and I know my purchasing power is stronger elsewhere.
  2. This thread needs a theme song... perhaps a diss track...
  3. I quickly bought back some of the ones I sold. I only had to pay more for the Skiff Master than I sold him for. I already have the Walmart Jabba's throne room but this thing comes with a Jabba and a new Yak Face. I know that the other Klaatu is 2019 release as well. I am still looking for a Black Series Ree Yees and the other barge droids. Then I may fill it up with some random aliens. I have a Slave Leia but figured I would get a second and Sandstorm Leia is on her way. The key though is having those barge soldiers. I placed an order from one of those guys in Macau and picked up two Nikto and a Barada. The others I still had and pulled them off eBay when I decided to get the barge.
  4. Hm.... I have been specifically pulling some figures aside and off eBay so I could load it up. Heh - give me a few minutes and I will take a pic of what I have assembled.
  5. Ordered this today - the only other one I have is an Iron Man and it is kind of cool... I always said that I would grab Fett once they announced one... Fett is coming in November and I preordered mine this afternoon. Egg Attack Boba Fett
  6. Sigh... I have no idea where I am going to put this thing when it finally gets here.
  7. But that case though... just wow. That really is an incredible way to display that collection.
  8. I was going to pull the trigger on a Sideshow figure but then realized I was 'looking' to buy something instead of buying something I already wanted. Other things I can put money toward when it comes up. I gotta be disciplined...
  9. Sold my 1.5 copy of Superman 35 for $125 Sold a piece of jewelry for $140 Sold $400 worth of Jewelry earlier this week... Sold JIM 103 1st Enchantress in a 4.5 for $250 last night. As Cube said... it was a good day. I might... might buy something... Really right now I am trying to decide between a Jeep Renegade or a Jeep Compass...
  10. Big mistake since I want to see the price paid for the condition of the item. However... sold four pieces of jewelry today for $400... So they may not get me to buy... but I will continue to sell and list high at the same time. I can always come down in price. Start on the the new bathroom sometime around Christmas?
  11. On top of that a lot of Chinese sellers are being caught selling the stolen items / fake items that they have centered their business on. Look... I buy some stuff from a guy that I am pretty sure is stealing straight off the assembly line from the Hasbro plant. He is still active. However, Lego has taken a very strong and active approach to removing the countless fake Lego minifigures that are out there. Those sellers get their accounts banned within a week of listing their items. So unless you are quick you are not getting the bootleg Lego Fantastic Four figures you so covet.
  12. On a mass market scale, Hasbro phased out the O-Ring on Joes back in 2006 when they shifted from the DTC releases to the 25th Anniversary line. However, a few O-Rings figures were released by the GI Joe Collector club from 2007 through 2010. These have been considered official Hasbro figures since the club is licensed to reuse previous Hasbro tooling and has the budget to sculpt a few new pieces. However, except for lower end discount bootleg figures, no toy manufacturer has utilized the O-Ring for mass market products since 2006. As far as buying MOC GI Joe figures, Joe, myself and a few others have discussed it in length and shown disaster examples of broken figures sealed on mint cards. I would not recommend it.
  13. Supposedly he never did drugs but finally admitted the extent of his drinking problem. Sad... he is quite entertaining.
  14. Ok... It was much better than I expected. Word of mouth was not very good on this and the attendance showed. When I went to see Rogue One the theater was packed. For Solo, I bought three tickets this afternoon on the way home from work. The three of us sat in a theater that was definitely not sold out. However, The movie IS a heist movie. There are elements of the Fast and the Furious 5 (As far as the heist aspect), Mad Max, Mission Impossible, AND Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Alden Ehrenreich is believable in the roll and gets by as Han Solo without trying to be Harrison Ford playing Han Solo if you understand. The guy that took over Chewbacca is also very good. Harrelson shines as Tobias Beckett. As reported Donald Glover's Lando steals the show. If you know watched the Clone Wars TV series and Rebels then you will appreciate the rewrites and reshoots that Ron Howard made in order to better fit it into the timeline. There are a lot of references without being obnoxious about it. What I most appreciated was that it told an original story. That was my biggest gripe with Force Awakens. Even though we know where these characters are going, the -script is tight enough to tell an original story and enter new ground simply from a few throwaway lines in the original trilogy. The Kessell Run is fully explained and is compelling to watch. How Han meets Chewbacca is also revealed. How Han get's his "look", his gun, and his attitude is also addressed. I promise you that Jabba the Hutt and Boba Fett are NOT in this movie. However, there is a big reveal in the end. If you watched the Clone Wars and Rebels then you will be pleasantly surprised. Alden Ehrenreich signed up for a three picture deal so it looks like they are headed to Tattooine next OR they are leaving the ending up to the imagination. My current ranking after seeing all ten films: 1 - Episode IV: A New Hope 2 - Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back 3 - Episode VIII: Last Jedi 4 - Rogue One 5 - Episode VI: Return of the Jedi 6 - Episode III Revenge of the Sith 7 - Solo: A Star Wars Story - Might be better with another viewing 8 - Episode II: Attack of the Clones 9 - Episode I: Phantom Menace 10 - Episode VII: The Force Awakens My disappointment with Force Awakens is that it just rehashes the best of moments of the original trilogy and does not really do anything storywise. Han Solo, Like Rogue One, the Prequels and the Last Jedi, create an original story. You may not like that story, but it is something new unlike the hack job that Abrams gave us. 3 out of 5 stars. More importantly though... there are 343 more days until Avengers 4.
  15. I think the problem is that you guys aren't using "google translate" the correct way. When you install the plug-in, "Amazing Spider-man 252" is Chinese for "Crappy Pair of Sunglasses."
  16. You too? I had Ditko sign a few copies of Ultimate Fallout 4. I wanted a few Ditko signatures on his creation of the first Spider-man, Miles Morales, and I knew that PGX was the right company to do that.
