Got my ASM set today & it's nice enough looking. I picked up a print with it & they shipped it together & the set shifted & came loose in the package. So I got really lucky they weren't damaged. The A cover is maybe a 9.6 but the other 2 are 9.8 candidates

I just had some Elektra's come back from CGC.

Covers B and C (3 copies each) all came back 9.8. Cover A one came back 9.8 and other two were rejects.

Those are impressive results as the ASM is a thicker than normal issue! Congrats!

  3. Another huge ticket item just released...

The EX (limited to 750 sold out in I believe under 15 minutes). Unfortunately I was at doctor office and missed out, but still snagged the regular edition.

The EX has a swap out portrait of Thanos smilng.

I got a gaggle of random books... This is the one I'm most eager to get in my hands, though.  Anyone here cracked one of these slabs yet?

They are super flimsy. I submitted two books to them just to see what the case was like (and their company is just 30 minutes from where I live), and there was a little piece of paper that got encapsulated along with the comic book.

I returned to what I thought would be a reslab, but the person who helped me just pried open the case with his hands and shook the paper out of the case.

Needless to say, haven't been too interested in using their services anymore.

  5. Civil War II (Major Character Death) -- Spoilers Inside

This is the line that really hurt the most...

It's part of a move -- which many fans say is long overdue -- to diversify the genre. Spider-Man is now Miles Morales, a black-Hispanic teenager, Thor a woman, Ms. Marvel a Muslim and fans recently learned that the Iron Man suit will soon be inhabited by an African-American female teen named Riri Williams.

Usually once the books hit "Graded" you'll see which ones passed and which ones didn't.

Right now I only see n/a under 'Graded'

I called customer service and they said to wait until it went to 'Quality Control' or something like that...

  7. Question RE: Prescreen Grading

I submitted several books for prescreen grading and now my status is "Scheduled For Grading"

When I click the account I see that only some of the books have the variant cover listed.

Does this mean that those books passed my pre-screen and the others didn't?
