  1. Awesome set!!! BUT, it's not complete without this one... Gimme! PM me Are these hard to come by? Curious as I have a couple of them.
  2. if it's the one I'm thinking of, it's a long drive for you, Mike Boxs of unpriced books... I'm guessing either JJ or Howard.
  3. I saw them they are very nice. I just need the 5,7,8, and annual 1 unfortunately.
  4. Looking for nm copies of Haunt of Horror 2-4 shoot me a price and what you have. I only need one copy of each. Also interested in nm copies of Deadly Hands of Kung Fu, Vampire Tales and some others as funds and the first books become available to purchase.
  5. Picked up my first Italian Fummetti cover. Done by Emanuele Taglietti it is from the 1978 comic Sukia number 3 with Sukia and Zora . This is a very interesting genre combining horror with erotic content. Some of the covers are a bit much. There is a relatively new book out about Taglietti from 2014. These are very much in the same vein as the Men's adventure magazines in the 1960's book
  6. I am planning on seeing the movie, but honestly the trailer didn't do anything for me. It was just ..
  7. I've done a large transaction with Leonard recently any everything went great. Easy communication and he paid quickly.
  8. Really? Maybe I am being too harsh, or too much of a FF fanboy, but I think they really effed up the head. The shape is all off and face looks like one of those shriveled apple granny faces we made as kids
  9. Love the Starhawk page very very cool and everyone knows how I feel about paintings
  10. Along with Marvel Magazines I love to get the art for them as well here is a new piece added to My CAF gallery. Monsters Unleashed #7 Cover for Curtis/ Marvel magazines. Its in spoiler tags due to some nudity. Yes, there is only one painting for the magazine.

  12. You shouldn’t have sold the earlier ones… Seriously, I have been thinking to sell my Fantastic Four page to purchase a #1 but in the end I think I will sell a number of books and try to get a lower grade #1: a copy with a mutilated back cover would be ideal! As much as I love FF they are very common in that I can complete the collection within a week if I had the money. I still have Most of the run as my copies were several deep in many cases. I am thinking about putting together a pence copy run for fun a bit more challenging in higher grades.
  13. I keep thinking on rebuilding my complete collection again since I sold off a bunch of my earlier issues for art buy then I would have to sell off a cover or two
  14. Hey Jimjum do you still have most of your FFs?
  15. Thanks Bill your room was awesome and you have some of the best books I have seen in person.
  16. Yep its in a cheapy frame for now. Its one of my early finds on ebay
  17. Tell me those aren't the OA marvel premier covers... Yep they are. I got lucky when I bought them.
  18. Not sure if this belongs in this thread or the unimpressive room thread. I am in the process of redoing it. The blinds are typically closed to black out sunlight. I will be selling off 80% of the stuff in the cabinet to get rid of the clutter as well as getting a new desk. You can see my art is starting to spread in to the hall now. I have to reframe the two plain frames while they are archival, they don't match my other frames. Still plenty of comic boxes and comics in the closet. I need to sell more as I still have too many.
  19. Another Page for my Art collection Werewolf by Night 42 page 3
  20. I think the cat 1 is the book to get...ff 66-67, Thor 165 vs. Marvel premiere 1 argument that has been going on here for a while now... The Cat is the book to get for what? The Cat is not Hellcat. Greer Grant is Tigra, OK, so if you like Tigra you have to keep both the Cat mini-series and the Giant Size Creatures. Aside from this, anyone still insisting on the relevance of Thor #165 (story wise) have just never read the stories (or deliberately want to ignore a 40+ years of comics history). A cool cover, whatever you want, but nothing more. The story is also inconsistent. It's the one to get regarding bronze age books that are heating up on eBay... Ah! – wasn’t the hype about Hellcat, or Patsy Walker for what matters? That's what I thought too, but it seems it's the first appearance of the costume that matters I didn't think or even care about the hellcat connection. The cover is cool as is the book. I owned a decent copy and sold it a while back and was looking to replace it with a better copy. This movie hype is eventually going to kill the back issue market. Its like baseball cards of old.
  21. i've got one in Sarasota that passed a 9.4 pre-screen, so here's to dreams of 9.6 Its a tough one to find in high grade. I bet it looks nice. I have been looking for a copy off and on.
