What is the point of getting mad over an obvious increase in price if people were paying attention it was coming plain as day. It not like it went up over night. As 45 went ballistic 46 should have been the next logical bump.

Bought a pair of Namisgr FFs just in today

This is probably one of those books where GPA is a trailing indicator. A 6.5 just went for $4500. I would probably put a 7.0 at maybe $4700-$5200, and a 7.5 at $6500-$7000. -J. I'd say a 7.5 is closer to 6k I sold mine and shopped it around and got lots of similar opinions from people in the know. 7k just was not there even though it was last sale GPA.

I'd go with 10x census. But there has to be a lot of attrition due to mom throwing them out, water damage, young family members ruining them, critter damage, fire damage. Plus even if there were 200k printed how many did not sell off the stands and were remaindered and or then destroyed. I'd vote for more than you think are still out there, but at the same time a lot less than a maximum number printed. Plus it was a new charactor but it was not in a #1 issue form. So I would bet Spidey #1s out number AF 15s by 5 to 1 or maybe even 20 to 1.

Explain to me why it is going to sky rocket? Just because the board hates Sony's depiction of the Spidey movies the movies are a mega hits world wide. I don't see where a Marvel/Disney movie is going to demand a spike. Better movies maybe but has'nt the train left the station on AF 15? Maybe if some HG copies are flushed out and sell way over #s. But I'd say AF 15 keeps on climbing steady switch or no switch. Now if you told me Spidey villians might be finally done right and those should be hot I'd agree with that.

My first place I went to frequently was Newbury Comics in Harvard Square early 80s this was a time when Newbury Comics was still mostly comics and Indy,Punk and New wave vinyl. Going in there they had great comics and you were sure to see some hardcore oldschool punk rockers people who only existed on MTV for a 10 year old.

I already have a nice stack of them. When the 9.8 sold for 2 k the same night I went in a different direction and bought up every HG raw copy I could find including a slabbed 9.6. I'd still love to find a 9.8 bout I doubt in happens

Certainly has the right look for Brother Voodoo however. Daniel Bruhl as a villian in Doctor Strange would be awesome. He was great in Inglorious Basterds and amazing as Nikki Lauda in Rush

If I was not getting either book I was going to make the other guy pay. If one popped up at some under the radar site you could find it cheaper. I wanted a HG copy because I like the art/charactor/scarcity other than that I really have no clue why it is so popular but now that cat is out of the bag everyone seems to want a copy. Movies, movies movies! He's been cast, I think.... Really that would be news to me. I'd need a link to believe that.

Best new of the day Tom Hardy is way to cool to play in a DC movie. If he does a Superhero movie he belongs in an epic Marvel role nuff said Yeah, he did a bang up job with Bane. Wouldn't they let him do the Sean Connery voice again? He crushed it as Bane, Lawless, Warrior, New Mad Max he is the next great action star who can actually act. Does not need an ensamble movie to waste his talents in.

I would like to think it would be a 10k book. But ST 110 might go off slightly different than other books where hype peaked right before the movie. I think it has a shot to increase after the movie if it is a smash hit. Exposing Doc to a whole new audience. Plus with the current run up how many uber HG copies 9.0 and up have shown up for sale. I think there are still many copies in the wild. Only 55 above 9.0 and 113 at 7.5 and up.

On the Nova 1s because he is not in GOTG does not preclude him showing up in some other arena. Just because 1 director says not in his movie, Why would they not use him in another vehicle the cosmic 3rd phase has just begun.

Problem is they don't sell that well i had a bunch of the boards No Va on nova. Needs a tie in with a movie thanks a lot James Gunn. Although most of these were scooped up raw way before any hype

you don't say do ya. I think there is a lemming philosophy on the boards that most " board collectors" are smarter than the norm. But on one hand there are sokme sharp minds that say dump it. But there are some smart minds that say keep it. The key is to be willing to zag when every one is zigging. Sometimes you win sometimes you lose and sometimes it rains. Think about that for a minute
