Great colors on that 14.

I remember going to a mom and pop store in the 60's and they had boxes of multple mint Charlton Comics. There were 20-30 copies of this one alone.

Always loved that cover! The Black Hand looks high.

I'm just amazed by the page quality of these books. I've had white page book where the interior covers were tanned and tanned page book where the interior covers were white. So many factors go into how books age.

I wait until after I see a movie to read reviews. There can often be a huge disconnect between what the critics see and what I see. 

And all for decaying paper.

This last episode, in my opinion, was the best and my favorite. It drew me in completely. 

Completing that run is still doable, too. Number 7 was always my favorite cover. Has a similar feel to Top Notch 9. Was it Ed Ashe who did that cover?

I remember when this story first came out. For some reason I felt that the trimming rumor was due to sour grapes on someone's part. I don't know for sure, though.

Except in Blue Ribbon 22. The last Rang A Tang story where the little dog saves his life but dies. Good story.
