The flea markets back east were over flowing with Popular Mechanics as a kid. Mechanix Illustrated too I suppose. My Dad's favorites were Plastic Man, Captain Marvel and Superman. In that order. Captain Marvel was pretty popular in those days.

Top Notch was one of favorites. I loved The Firefly. It was a bummer reading #27 to find that The Firefly story was to be continued in the next issue, which of course never happened as it turned into Top Notch Laugh.
