A question for you Fiction House experts. I recently picked up this book. I noticed that CGC adds "Tiger Girl begins" to the label for this one. That had me looking up Tiger Girl's first appearance.
I've found a few resources that say Fight 32 is her first appearance. Why would CGC not call this her first appearance unless there is an earlier appearance in another title? Does she have an earlier appearance?
Maybe she's not too significant a character but I've seen many insignificant characters noted with first appearance.

I'm surprised to hear that cgc will reholder these. I thought their stance was that this doesn't affect the book, even though some say it does (and have shown proof).

Some items have notes, some don't. We're not like CGC where we have notes written down that we're not showing you. Any grade related notes we recorded are shown.
We're more likely to record notes when:
- item is higher value
- defect is not something that can be easily seen in the cover scans, eg spine splits
- defect is something that people tend to feel strongly about even when it's allowed within the grade, like water damage, mold, or in the case of a PR book detailing why it's poor (if page missing does it affect story, etc)We generally do not attempt to notate relatively bland defects that are normal for the grade.
The reason we don't provide more notes for all items is that grading + recording notes takes more time than grading alone, and as a business we have to make a decision about how much labor to put into recording each book we handle.
Is there any way to access the notes once a book has been purchased? There were 2 copies available of a book I bought a few days ago. Both have been sold. I can access the listing from my account but the notes are gone. It just says sold.

Wow - that looks like a ghost town
I took these around 4:30 Sunday afternoon so it was pretty dead at that point. Photo ops was pretty packed at times

Thanks for sharing the pictures! We skipped it after going the last five years or so. How were the crowds? From the videos and pictures I’ve seen, it looks like it wasn’t as packed as usual.
The crowds were pretty light but attendance seemed decent. Definitely fewer vendors than usual so things were spread out more. Very easy to get through the aisles which was nice.

I purchased a golden age slab from Jeff. Paid with a check and received the book safely and securely with no problems!
