  1. Richland, Washington. The address is near the bottom in the "contact us" box. It took me a while to find it, too.
  2. Would need to think on the first two rows, other than I've already got the Amazing. Third row is easy: The Clues with the Avenger short story.
  3. Thank you. I've got Albedo 3 and Critters 1, so at least I've got something. Not likely to ever officially join the club here, though.
  4. He means the first two years of the book, 1923 and 1924. They're crazy rare. Thank you for the heads up on this, @Robot Man. It's definitely close enough to me for a long day trip sometime next year, but probably not until the spring. I don't want to risk the mountain passes until then, I'm not good with driving in icy conditions.
  5. Today's silly question: Where does the Critters #1 fall in the order of early appearances?
  6. I view that as a feature, not a bug, though. A smaller GA forum where I could actually keep an eye out for stuff that interests me, rather than the G/S/B forum where there's too much stuff I'm not interested in, would make me more likely to grab stuff off the forums. As it stands now, almost all my purchases here have been when I've been directed to a specific thread or item from elsewhere in the forums.
  7. It's EC, since the 3rd issue was purely EC. Not sure if the complete "Life of Christ" edition (which is only the first two issues) is DC or EC.
  8. Max Gaines printed the material in a variety of formats. The New Testament had 3 different cover publishers; DC on the #1, All American on the #2, and EC on the #3 (which I don't have yet, other than the collected edition.). Further complicating matters, the #2 is AA on the cover but the indicia shows the publisher as Educational Comcs... making it arguably the first EC comic. The other popular candidate is Picture Stories from American History #1, which is the first book with the EC logo, but largely reprints filler material from various AA books.
  9. This thread needs a bump, how about some books featuring the Kurtzman & Elder team?
  10. The Binky & Buzzy issues with Scribbly back-ups. I've got all 15 issues of Scribbly, as well, if somebody wants me to post those here as well...
  11. I'm still missing Adventure #150 and All-Star #50, I have all the other Frazetta DC issues.
  12. I know it's generally poor form to quote oneself, but I only just noticed this after I posted. Frazetta signed this page twice, in both upper corners. I wonder why...
  13. I'm not aware of any classic covers on the title, although I'm far from an expert. There were a couple issues with stories by some guy named Frazetta. He only did 18 stories for DC total:
  14. Is it just me, or is a cover for a book with "Shoot to kill" in the title showing not a gun, not even a bow, but a garrote an interesting editorial choice?
  15. I vaguely recall hearing about others finding the Authentic Police Cases and other giants with non-standard contents, as well. So it’s quite possible St. John used leftover covers for remainder giants on a small scale in addition to the regular contents.
  16. At work, so don’t have time to go through the scan; I’ll just leave this here: https://digitalcomicmuseum.com/index.php?dlid=17520
  17. Surely it's just somebody writing their name on the book and not a price...
  18. I can agree with everything you said here; thank you for taking the time to read the book.
  19. I certainly don't have a 23... my earliest issue is 29. But I lucked across this last year not even knowing it was supposedly difficult:
  20. I missed this earlier. My copy unfortunately has a detached cover with a beat up spine, but even so it might be time to let it go...
