  1. That explains why you didn't answer the door when I was standing on your porch for 3 hours.
  2. I too gave up collecting completely in college, which lasted into my late twenties, as I didn't have money or space for comics at the time. I actually sold off my collection while in college to help buy a car. That car was a piece of spoon too. Good times.
  3. There are none. This is an unregulated market.
  4. I can't for the life of me remember the source now but I recall reading at some point that Cole did the inks for that cover but not the pencils.
  5. Impressive lighting and staging in this pic but do you have any more pictures of the guy with the shoulder dog? I look forward to those every Buffalo report.
  6. Big shout out to @Point Five for helping me secure issue 9 of this Battlefield run, which I found to be the most elusive. A great looking copy too.
  7. Assume this is already a low grade Golden Age book, with enough cumulative defects to bring the overall grade down to a 2.0. How much would this piece missing impact that grade, if at all?
  8. Takes: First takeit in the thread wins and immediately trumps all ongoing PM negotiations. I reserve the right to overrule takes in the event that a PM deal is concluded and I hadn't yet had a chance to mark an item sold. Any variation of "takeit" counts. Please do not edit takeits and please do not commit to buy unless you intend to follow through. Payment: Zelle, Check or MO preferred. Paypal or Venmo okay. Who can buy: No Hall of Shamers or Probies, or anyone on my personal list. Shipping: Included in the US. International at cost. Returns: Three days' return shipping from receipt. Buyer is responsible for shipping cost back unless item was damaged in transit.
  9. I signed up for Instagram a few years ago when it seemed like it was turning into the place to go to buy and sell comics. I think I made it 5 minutes before bowing out and deleting my profile. That interface and the content was unnavigable. I never looked back, even though legit dealers like SuperWorld leverage the platform. I've also stayed away from WhatNot, which sounds awful.
  10. I'm probably too cynical to believe that celebrities do anything for free, either in dollars or time obligations to the promoter. I hope I'm wrong.
  11. Or they were contractually obligated to sell through a certain amount of signatures.
