For starters, I want to see if you can admit when you would be wrong, that I'm not delusional, and this is real. Of course, when all the proof is in place. But I want to know.

    To paraphrase you...

I've already told you that I would admit it if I were wrong. But you're not listening.

It's very simple for me to admit that I'm wrong. (shrug)

How long are we going to have to wait for proof of her existence, let alone her "superhuman powers"?

Shouldn't take more than a day, really...or if she is your wife...all of five minutes.

    That's good.

And as a lawyer, you probably see all kinds of 18-20 year olds who drink, smoke, smoke pot, drive too fast, and get in trouble because they didn't listen to their parents or elders. I'm not saying your situation doesn't happen - glad it happened for YOU - I just see a lot more kids who DON'T seem to listen to that advice.

The frontal lobe is not fully developed in males until the mid 20s. There is a scientific reason for the idiocy of the young - the part of the brain that tells you "maybe that's not such a great idea" doesn't work the way it's supposed to.

  3. This guy needs serious help, not a bunch of people egging him on in this journal. For those of you who fail to see the seriousness of the matter and the negative implications for Gabe...

    From WebMD

Delusional disorder, previously called paranoid disorder, is a type of serious mental illness called a psychotic disorder. People who have it can’t tell what’s real from what is imagined.

Delusions are the main symptom of delusional disorder. They’re unshakable beliefs in something that isn’t true or based on reality. But that doesn’t mean they’re completely unrealistic. Delusional disorder involves delusions that aren’t bizarre, having to do with situations that could happen in real life, like being followed, poisoned, deceived, conspired against, or loved from a distance. These delusions usually involve mistaken perceptions or experiences. But in reality, the situations are either not true at all or highly exaggerated.

A bizarre delusion, by contrast, is something that could never happen in real life, such as being cloned by aliens or having your thoughts broadcast on TV. A person who has such thoughts might be considered delusional with bizarre-type delusions.

Although delusions might be a symptom of more common disorders, such as schizophrenia, delusional disorder itself is rather rare.

Erotomanic: The person believes someone is in love with them and might try to contact that person. Often it’s someone important or famous. This can lead to stalking behavior.

Delusional disorder can be very difficult to treat, in part because those who have it often have poor insight and do not know there’s a psychiatric problem.

People with severe symptoms or who are at risk of hurting themselves or others might need to be hospitalized until the condition is stabilized.

What Are the Complications of Delusional Disorder?

People with delusional disorder might become depressed, often as the result of difficulties associated with the delusions.
Acting on the delusions also can lead to violence or legal problems. For example, a person with an erotomanic delusion who stalks or harasses the object of the delusion could be arrested.
Also, people with this disorder can become alienated from others, especially if their delusions interfere with or damage their relationships.

Why does it bother you? Just ignore it if you don't like it, it's Gabe's journal.

Because at this point, I am convinced that his journal is doing more harm than good. It's a full-blown Barnum and Bailey production at this point, and I have to ask if we are now victimizing him in some way by providing an audience.

If the mods saw fit to unlock the journal after review, then they will likely have to answer if the situation continues to deteriorate as a result of anything that is said here...so will we, for that matter.

  5. You deserved to win a second time. You're set is untouchable, even though I'm still partial to my old Spawn set (which no longer exists as it once was). :)

I was surprised to see you win again so soon after your first victory, but I chalked it up to two things:

    1. Your set is untouchable in the Modern age category.

    2. Lack of competition.

I'm sad to see that it went down like it did. Really unfair of the CGC.

  6. Have you seen video footage of her spectacular physical prowess? I'm sure the news outlets would be interested if her abilities were, indeed, superhuman.

I understand that she is your wife in the video game you play. She may possess some sort of power in the video game, but not in real life.

The picture you posted is a wallpaper image from wallhere.com

All you have to do is perform a Google image search to find the picture. Is she a model? Can you post other pictures of the same person?

We've been over the catfishing thing a million times. You refuse to accept it, probably because you are suffering from major delusions, for which you need professional help.

I'm perfectly fine in terms of what I'm speaking about and don't need help. I'm not deluded of anything about my wife and her sister having powers. You can think I'm whatever you like and I know the things I say are hard to believe but it's nothing that I'm lying about.

The fact that you are convinced of this is proof that you are delusional. Your reality is different from the one in which other people live.

I'm sorry that no one in your actual (not online) life is looking out for your mental health.

Mental illness is like cancer in some ways. You can't always see proof of the cancer in yourself. Sometimes it takes an MRI. Even then, it can take a long time before someone can accept it.

This is why mental illness is sad. It can take years before someone finally accepts it, simply because it's hard to see past your own nose. It's hard to step outside of yourself and see reality - who you really are and what's happening. I'm not a "regret" person, but if I had to choose my biggest regret, I would choose the inability to recognize the symptoms of my own mental illness. I had to listen to other people's observations; I had to break down and admit that I needed help. It's hard, but it's so worth it.

Therapy and medication can save lives if applied with expert care and discipline. Had I not received the help I did, I would be dead or in prison.

I hope that one day you get the help you need, and I wish you the best. I'll have to say goodbye for now, but if you are serious about talking, you can always PM me.
