  1. Good question! That is something I'll find out when I get my new (used) scanner in mail tomorrow.
  2. I could sit in front of these books and stared at them all day! No whining or panting from me, for sure... Ok, I lied - I want them all!
  3. That is a good idea about having the shelf for boardies assigned for their "claimed" comics. That keeps everything organized. I should use that when I have my own space for my office.
  4. You really went all out in scooping the ASM, eh? I can see you flipping a couple of ASM 129 in near future to recap the price you spent on other ASM above. Good strategy
  5. Just wow... You have been on a tear lately. Congratulations. WOW Yup, nice copy - not many get that high in grade!
  6. When this movie come up in theaters - I'm marking my date to watch for sure! there is no other movie bigger that the X-Men: DFP. Well worth my spent money to sit and watch
  7. Was not aware CGC graded these, very cool! (thumbs u Me too, didn't know CGC do that. In fact, I do have the whole set like this one above - there was Captain America, Hulk, Archie and etc. Total of 6 in this set. I brought them back then when new. Wonder what they go by value?
  8. Picked a couple of SA Thor comics that I won off from eBay last week. They were in my local area, which made it possible to go pick them in person. That saved me shipping cost. Here is the photo... Both are in nice condition - somewhere between high VF to VF/NM. Paid $50 for them. ...And the seller let me take a peek to his other (more!) comics in his house, I saw many many more SA marvels. A little "honey-hole" that I'll be visiting back!
  9. Got some new comic books in mail since after Christmas to today... My last purchase of 2013 (from here) - JLA #19 and HoS #66. And... my first purchase of 2014: Three nice comics - Little Dot #45, 46 and 47 I'll be expecting a few more in the next few weeks or so then. Good start with the new year!
  10. Brought 2 books from Patrick in December (last month) and they come in like he said would be. JLA #19 and HoS #66 are sweet. Hoping to do more business with him soon. Packaging was great and tidy - you'd have no problem with him in selling threads. Thanks !!
  11. Brought some raw DC comics from him . They were all good and the packing job was great. Thanks!
  12. The Campbell statue - Gwen Stacy looks good in her classic style. She's got a nice behind, wonder how she'd look in front? Argh! Who am I kidding myself? Must.... resist...from looking. As the Borg would said: "Resistance is futile." Gonna scope for a good deal to buy one!
  13. Ok you guys ... can't you slow down with all the bombing of so many photos. Take a good break. If I see another one more photo of a sexy lady-in-statue ... I'll crack down and go out buy a new statue fast! I've sticked with small statues within reasonable prices. Now looking at all the photos... I may reconsider in going for a BIG statue!
  14. You nailed the point in the TV idea! For years I`ve alway believed that the FF gang is better suited for TV series. There is so much characters within this comic book series that need be built into a great enjoyment to watch. No 2-hour feature movies are enough to flesh out the major characters in ONE shot! Look to how Star Wars was done and now at 6 movies later ... it's still not enough. Already we're gonna see the 7th movie coming. That is why Marvel is taking their time in paving over with all the Avengers/Iron Man/Thor/Hulk storylines. Fox will never grasp how it should be. I won't be watching this FF movie.
  15. Great statues you got there. However... for your future uploads, please do one thing for broadies here? Flip over your pictures before you post them here. Not all of us like to flip out our necks or flip over our monitors too often.
  16. After seeing the cover of issue #5 in preview... I'm getting that one! I have had got all the variants for #1 and #2, plus couple extra sets set aside, looking forward for the #3 to come. My LCS have me on their list for this since.
  17. Got a set of "Afterlife with Archie" comic book variants from Jonathan. Prefect and the packaging is good. I would buy from him again! Thanks for the smooth purchase. Cheers! (thumbs u
  18. Awesome story from start to end! (thumbs u I had the whole set #1-38 in first prints years ago (sold the set for good price!)
  19. Opening a new thread for my kudos to come... Thanks.
  20. After reading most of the posts... I hope this fellow get throw into jail for not sopporting his child! And what I'm seeing from the updates, it looks like Dupcak is trying to drag down the court by adding more "court appearances" appointments. That's a ploy to waste court's time! Dupcak must be despeate to avoid the child support payments...
  21. I got some questions in asking. (to Mods): if I'm asking here as the wrong place - please move to where it's best suitable related with the subject: Questions from a newbie (me) in looking to sell comics for the first time. I'm looking to start my first thread in selling forum soon. I had read guidelines, rules and etc. Printed out guidelines so I can read while I write up a new thread in selling forum. But I have two questions in regard about "kudos" thing. Since I'll be selling for the first time - what do I have to tell if I don't have any "kudos" to show myself in good standing? Should I mention my eBay username to look in feedback? That is all - thanks! (thumbs u
  22. Where are you moving out to? I moved from Calgary, Alberta there. My original hometown was in Burnaby. Now I live close by. PM me if you got time before .... too late?
  23. Hi all, I like this thread - a good way to introduce ourselves! Name is Gregory and I had been reading comic books since age 5. My collection didn't start until 2 years later and when I looked what I had gathered that much. I said,"why stop? I'll go on as long I like to read!" Well, it's almost 40 years and I have not stopped reading .. I'm enjoying comic books too much My collection had changed in the last 20 years since. I shifted around to focus more on my core collection to complete my favourite titles in high grade/striaght runs. As a kid, I started out with Richie Rich; Walt Disney Ducks (Carl Barks and Don Rosa!); Gold Key - Mystery/Sci-Fic; Superman; Flash and some Marvel early runs. Anything after '90s - it's just tradeback/HC books to read as it's cheaper and get more volume in reading. I still buy new comics but not so much. I signed to here two years ago but haven't get to post much. Now I am doing more often after moved back to my old town to live. it's good to see lots of fellow collectors with the same ideals here! Thanks for making me feel welcomed in here! (thumbs u
  24. Yea, I saw your photo in the other thread - the wall of RRs. Got a extra copy you'd sell me? I got about 100 RRs but not near as good as yours!
