I do notice that young Bruce is getting deeper in sharping his detective skills to uncover Arkham Asylum issue. I think by around Christmas season - Bruce will make the decision to take further education in detective science course maybe?

Hi, While I do not own any Canadian Whites, but I think I have Canadian editions from the 1950s (a few ones somewhere in my boxes). Now I'm interested in trying to get a White in era of 1940s. Guess I'm going to jump on the wagon with you guys Now there are something I want to know why for these reasons: 1) How come the Overstreet guide have not add a section for Canadian Whites? My new guide has a feature article talking about the Whites in the war times. But no listings, no database, no established given prices? Given the scarcity of these Whites. I'd think they earn their own section by now? I want to know the number of Canadian printed comics, scarcity ratio index, and such info. 2) If I were to buy a White, would a high grade copy be more better than a low grade given its status? Wondering about that. I will go over my boxes to see if I have the CDL editions sometime this week. Thanks.

This week - I got 4 books going into my collection. Not much to say - 2 books from Comiclink that I won off their auction online. I got Superman # 377 Canadian price variant CGC 9.6 white pages, and Adventure Comics # 323 7.0 raw. Paid $44 plus shipping for them. This was my first time trying out with comiclink auction, and thought that is good experience. Their shipping method was great. I will do more later with comiclink. Funny thing... there is NO sticker on my Superman slab? I had read a thread about how broadies complained about the sticker sticked on their slabs the other day. Mine is clean - like how CGC did the way. The other 2 books are from a broadie who went to NYCC 2014 con. Love the comic - Little Nemo: Return to Slumberland! I used to read the original sunday comic strips in a volume reprint. Can't wait for issue #2 to come.

I remembered had read this title years ago when it come out. It was quite a riot at the character in the stories. I thought it was good reading and then some chuckles IMO.

+1 As far as I'm concerned, if there aren't scans the listing doesn't exist. Way too many defect variations of books in grade, not to mention centering and miscuts. Amen. Quite true, ahem.

As some of us in true great north knows this weekend is also our Thanksgiving weekend. Today I picked up some parcels with my latest comic books to add into my collection. Paypal ruled in my favor and I will be getting a refund in the next day or two. Still no word from Ajaxfarrell though. Same. Paypal provided the refund but I think he should remain on the list until he can discuss why he failed to follow through on his sales. I never got my purchase (even though he said it was mailed weeks ago), never responded to me, so he's going to stay on the list until he refunds me, since I can't go through Paypal. Still very disappointing. I had gotten the same story like you did - from Ajaxfarrell. I had to go report to my credit card company to get my money back. I never got any response since 8/28. I guess he goes on banned list?

Got to see it last night, and it went good. Next week, we should get to see what next the Penguin will do to keep the cash flowing. Looks like it's the beginning of his plan. This sitcom is taking its time to build up. So far, it's not bad. I find Fish Wanda is somewhat irritated in acting to me.

Sunday Morning, I will begin list many of my friend's modern comics in my selling thread (Mixed themes). Among these comics will features NM 87, G.I. Joe, Transformers, some Marvels/DC with 1st appearance - like X-Men #244, for one. Most are from 1980s-1990s. Thank you for reading the announcement.

Remember Smallville. That was what I thought. But will the director of Gotham follow the same path like Smallville did? I doubt somewhat. I'm betting they will try to do a little different later.

I get what the CGC staff gal is trying to say... but it's dicey when it ties to someone's personal page. Many tend to set theirs in privacy settings to limit some stuff. Maybe I'm wrong in what I'm saying? The idea sounds good - it could bring more people into the world of comics, but will it make things better or worse when hooked with FB?

Last night - I watched Gotham, and I thought the scene where the young Wayne with his dead parents on ground was bang on just like in comics. But the young Catwoman having witnessed it? That was an interesting twist... Overall, the first episode was not bad. I'll see the next few episodes to get the feel of how this show will go. I wonder when we will see the first sight of Batman making his first appearance? At the end of the first season or in middle of the run?

I'm not sure how hard these Nintendo books are to find . But I did had read some posts in the forums here, how they say about these books so difficult to find. Since I was there at the yard sale and they were there... I thought I'd take them and list them later tonight. Here are more photos... And these I found - surprised that was Alex Ross's 1st published work. Some shell-heads green dudes - #1 and 3 (they are third and fourth printings), gonna give them to a friend who is a big turtle fan.

Went to a yard sale where the homeowner had 4 long boxes of '80-90s dreks. Took over 40 comics picked out. He had one box full of Image stuff... passed, no thanks! A good day to go out, see what I got for about one dollar each.

I know... I ended up put in one order yesterday! I like the "Bombshell" figures where these characters graced on the comic book covers. I can't believe myself that I am now getting into bigger statues - starting with this one I better start find me a new glass cabinet to house all future bigger statues in preparing ahead.

Nice! Got my copy last year. Nice copy you have. I see that I'm just 2 grades below yours. But after sent it to CGC - will find out its actual grade then.
