Just checked on my submission. Books were received at CGC first week in November but weren't checked in until Dec 7. My books haven't been signed yet. The customer service rep didn't know when he would be back on site. What sucks is I had Rick Leonardi books for his signing in the same box but those were checked in Nov 9th.

Has there been any info if Todd finished all the books for this signing or is he going to have to come back to Sarasota for another signing session?

Like others said great write up. I was there Saturday and i was surprised at the lack of comic talent there. I know Jock was the headliner but no classic creators as they have had in the past. Big thanks to @Bubbagump for saving my weekend from being a total bust. I was able to add another 9.8 ASM McSpidey to help me get closer to completing that run. Thanks Rick!

I was lucky enough to meet George 2X. One at the North Texas Comic Book Show that I think was 2017. It was in the Fair Park Building at the Cotton Bowl. It was February and about 30-40°F inside the building. He and Marv were both there and both couldn't have been nicer. George took his time with every fan and such a genuinely sweet person. There must have been over 300 people in line as the line went around the inside of the building. Fast forward to 2018 I believe and Bedrock City Comics had won a contest to have George come to their store on a Saturday. I remember dragging my poor wife down to Houston and driving at about 3AM so we could make down there by no later than 8. When we got there there must have been 100-150 people already in line and he wasn't due in the store until around 1PM.While we stood in line we thought we came a long distance from Fort Worth but met people from Chicago, Ohio and California. He arrived and by that time the line wrapped so far behind the store you could not see the end. We finally got to see George and at the time Infinity War was just about to come out and we talked about that and he signed by Infinity Gauntlet Omnibus. Then I asked if I could get a picture with him. He jumped from the table came around grabbed and gave me a hug as my wife took the picture. It meant a lot to me that he loved his fans as much as his fans loved him. From talking to Mr Bedrock he stayed in the store until almost 9PM so that everyone in line could have their moment with him. I've gotten to meet a lot of creators over the last 15 years or so and none had they way to brighten the room the way George did. He will be genuinely missed. Godspeed George you had an impact on so many people and the world is a sadder place without you.

My favorite Adams cover too. Told him that at a show once and he looked at me funny, and said well it has good colors.

Although John Romita Sr is my favorite artist and as KCO Comics noted ASM 50 is one of the top covers of the SA. Give me ASM 3 all day! Here are mine:

I did the crossover deal with an ASM 129. Never again. CBCS graded it a 9.2. Owning a couple of hundred CGC books i thought at worst it would drop to an 8.5. Needless to say i wad shocked it came back as an 8.0. Once Joeypost clears his backlog I’m sending it to him to work his magic since that was nearly $2k bath.

Did Sony learn nothing with Amazing Spiderman 2 and all the ridiculous spinoffs they were talking about then?

I really didn't enjoy Suicide Squad but Peacemaker has totally restored my faith in James Gunn. Peacemaker has it all!
