For everyone who bid on the various books that have been up during the past few months, thanks! And for anyone who won any of them, thanks and congratulations! They are beautiful books that took me a long time to put together.
It was very hard on me to watch all of those beauties go to collections other than mine.

Eerie’s have such a cool look especially when in high grade. Love looking through the new book showing all the covers. Just like Skywalds - tough to get in high grade. I usually have to pay way more than I want to when buying 9.0+ graded copies.
Agreed. Yeah, I wish that I had started collecting them a long time ago. Buying them, now, hurts a little, but I think they're worth the pain.

So jealous of all these high grade Eeries you post!!!!!
Really?
Thank you, Gregd. Believe me when I tell you that I'm paying for them. I do feel fortunate, though, to have been given the opportunity to buy them.
If it's any consolation, I get jealous over just about everything posted here. Well, except for the drek that Greggy keeps posting.
How about that Monsterscene that Dover just posted? That is the s#@t!

You just don’t see Eerie pubs in that kind of grade. Outstanding pick ups!!!
Thank you, Sir.

Added a batch of new Skywalds.
Big thanks to Richard and Bedrock City Comic Co.!
Sorry for the crappy pics.
The Scream 10 is a sweet 9.6 W Top 1 of 1.
Scream 5 is a small upgrade. Still one of my favorite Skywald Covers, and was my first Skywald book many years ago.
Never had a decent Scream 9 or a Scream 6.
Wowsers, great finds!

And there was something weird about her butt in the triple sketch on the previous page, especially in her last image.
What's wrong with it?
This might get me banned, but I'd take an Enric gal over one of Frazetta's any day. Frazetta women scare me. There, I said it. ...

You could still get all the back issues direct from Warrant up until the end of May this year, so I took advantage of that.
Yeah, I missed out on that deal.

In case you missed it, I kicked off my final gallery tonight (assuming I don't get the money or inclination to chase Famous Monsters of Filmland)--dedicated to Other Warranted Warrenesque Warrenness.
So here's an index to all five, which I will copy and edit into my first post on the first page of this thread for easy access and reference.
A CREEPY Collection for the Rest of Us
You've got a really nice run of CREEPS, AE. Thanks for posting them.

I got something really special to share- the magnitude of the book is only exceeded by the generosity of my friend Dave out of Detroit—a long Long time collector of top shelf horror magazines and books—like right off the rack in the sixties/seventies collector to give you an idea.
Well, he sent this to me out of the blue and it arrived yesterday. I’m still processing his extremely kind gesture. Even if a beater, I’d have treasured what is a kind gift from a friend, but this copy isn’t that— A conservative grade range would be 9.2-9.6 as you would’ve found it on the store shelf back in 1965.I did nothing to deserve it or earn it. A random act of generosity you just seldom see.
To those maybe not familiar with this book, it’s an original painted cover by the master himself - Frank Frazetta - pre-Warren work if I have my facts straight
Im humbled by Dave’s generosity. This hobby holds some incredible people- many on these threads— …well enough already, I excitedly post what I hope will be to your enjoyment 👍🏻
That is so
coolsuper sweet. Thanks for sharing it. -

Getting us back on track, my 10 favorite recent additions.
Double cover Monsters Unleashed 2.
Favorite cover from Scream.
Cheap local find. Pretty much never see Skywald titles in the wild, and in this condition it's unheard of.
Favorite Adams cover after Tec 400.
Favorite Deadly Hands cover.
the Frazettas.
and finally this.
Sweet magazines. All of them.

I usually prefer to show the listings I've actually bought, but again, this is pretty mind blowing...I just don't know where Dave In Detroit gets his stuff, but 4 Eerie Tales in amazing condition!
Sounds like he's got a sense of humor too if you read the description. I just don't have deep enough pockets for books of this caliber, but he's also very clear that the listed price is not what he's expecting.
If he's able to pull four Eerie Tales out of his hat, what else is in the hat?!?!?!

This helped take some of the pain away, though, and it gave my registry score a little bit of a needed bump, too!
