I received some money for my birthday, and the first thing I did was start searching feebay for a new addition to my Eerie Pubs. collection. While searching the listings, I ran across something interesting. It's a copy of the Sept/79 issue of Weird V12 #3. I already have a CGC'd 7.5 copy, but I noticed something different about the auction copy. All of the sudden I had to have it, too!

Here are front and back scans of both books. See if you can spot the difference . I'm interested to know if this is common thing with Eerie Pubs. books? I really wouldn't be surprised to learn that it is.

As a kid always seeing the tiny black & white back issue pics that were poor quality to begin with, it was hard to tell. It always looked to me that the rats were supposed to be invisible or transparent like ghosts and just outlined in white, (especially the one on top of his hand) so you could tell they were rats. It was a shock to see the cover not as I imagined. For that reason alone, I quite like this cover. 

Is it just me or does it have kind of an Eerie Pubs. vibe to it? I like it, too!

I managed to save a few more early '70's books. Thought I'd share them. They smell fantastic!
